    On Saturday, March 15, 2014, Claudette went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, whom she came to know in 1977. She will be greatly missed by her husband Richard and children, Mark, Robyn and Paul. She will be missed by her grandchildren Luke, Adam and Hannah. Claudette was a faithful servant of the Lord at Berean Baptist Church in London and previously Toronto Free Presbyterian Church in Toronto. Friends will be received by the family from 10 – 11 am on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Berean Baptist Church, 932 Leathorne, London, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 am.     At her residence on Thursday, March 13, 2014, Evelyn Wood in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Harry Wood. Loving mother of Paul Wood and his wife Paula of London, and Raymond Wood and his wife Brenda of Calgary. Cherished grandmother of Shannon (Patrick), David (Jaqueline), Jeffrey, Paul (Zoe) and Amanda. Proud great-grandmother of Taylor, Adam and Riley Evelyn. Predeceased by her parents James and Elizabeth Walker, her brothers James Walker, John Walker, Matthew Walker and Ronald Walker. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins in the U.K. Cremation has taken place.     Suddenly at Parkwood Hospital, London, on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, Robert Whelan of London and formerly of Montreal, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Claude (Pepin) Whelan for 45 years. Predeceased by our daughter Suzanne (1974). Survived by his children Nancy Whelan and Robert Whelan Jr.. Grandfather of Robbie and Meaghan.     In London on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, Velma Biddle in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Richard Biddle. Loving mother of Robert and Norman and mother-in-law of Linda and Willeta. Sister-in-law of Phyllis Froude. Cherished grandmother of Kathryn Lacey and Troy Biddle and great-grandmother of Steven and Jenna (predeceased). Velma was the last survivor of the family of Frederick and Mary (Gower) Parker whose other children were Herman, Clara, Olive, Winnifred, Mildred, Charlie, and Gordon. A life of adventure from starting school at SS # 1&1 of London and North Dorchester, to the years in Saskatoon, to retirement from the offices of Victoria Hospital and two years of loving care at Kensington Village. Loving mother of Roy Furness (Sarah), Victor Furness (Jim), and Russ Mayfield. Predeceased by her daughter Christine Caddey. Cherished grandma of Celina, Robert, Shawn, Angela, Sarah and great-grandma of Josh, Kaeden, Sophie, Gregory, Ayla, Nicholas, Genevieve and Autumn.     After a brief illness, Anna passed away peacefully at University hospital surrounded by loved ones on March 7, 2014. Anna, of London, Ontario, was in her 91st year. She is predeceased by beloved husband Alex. Anna will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her son Alex (Kathy), granddaughters Karey (Derek) and Sara (Nick), great grandson Matthew, and friends Julie and Carolyn.     HARRIS, Patrick Roy “Harry”……

    Suddenly at Victoria Hospital, London, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, Patrick Harris in his 54th year. Beloved son of Patricia and the late Roy Harris, Mum will miss his daily 4pm visits to chat and read the paper. Loving brother of Judy and Philip. Kindred spirit to his late uncle Martin. Also missed by aunts, uncles and many cousins, mostly on the Prairie’s, especially Linda and Daryl. Harry was the life of the party and will be missed by many friends, especially Jeff, Dawna, Barb and Gene. He was born in Halifax, worked hard his entire life, starting as a Free Press paperboy and ending as a respected and popular Dental Office Technician. He loved fishing, chirping, Canadian hockey, his dogs, Holly and Musky, kids and bragging about his rose gardens. He was an incredible and competitive athlete, playing for the London Beefeaters, Jr B hockey and full body contact euchre. Cremation has taken place. Predeceased by his siblings Lillian, Jack, brother-in-laws Walt, Leonard, and his nephews Allan and Jon. Fred served in WWII No. 1 Special Wireless in Australia. He was a retired member of the Local 593 Plumbers and Steamfitters. Fred was a member of the Goderich Lions Club and London South for many years.
