 - Ted Duplan- DUPLAN, Ted….. - Ted Duplan passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2014 at University Hospital, London, one day short of his 92nd Birthday. Beloved husband of Janet (Down) Duplan for 62 years. Loving father of Susan Duplan (Michael Rescorl) of Pender Island, BC, John Duplan (Ellie Kop) of Mount Brydges and Gord Duplan (Debbie) of London. Dear grandpa of Garrett McLeod, Greg Duplan (Nickki), Karlyn Beaver (Dale), Matthew, Lauren and Sarah Duplan and great-grandpa of Cameron, Amelia and Wynona. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Edith. Ted served in the Canadian Navy during World War II as a Wireless Telegrapher. He was a member of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London for 70 years, and sang in the Boys Choir in the early 30’s. He enjoyed many years in the summer and winter with his family at their cottage on Lake Huron. He was a long supporter of the Blue Jays Baseball Team going back when they started playing in Exhibition Stadium in Toronto. Ted was a longtime member of the Highland Golf Club where he enjoyed playing golf and curling. He loved dogs, raised and owned many during his lifetime. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11 am. Private family Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. - Bloss Everitt Doupe- Doupe, Bloss Everitt…. 
 Peacefully at Strathroy and Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday May 4, 2014 in his 99th year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley May (Randall) Doupe. Dear father of Neil Doupe of London, Darlene Doupe of Barrie and Barbara Doupe of Toronto. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his infant son Allen, his parents and brothers and sisters. Bloss was a long time Mason; member of many Masonic lodges. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2 -4 and 7-9pm on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. A Masonic service under the auspices of King Solomon’s Lodge No. 378 A.F. & A.M. will be conducted at the funeral homeon Friday evening at 6:30pm.  At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Friday, May 2, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Russel M. Smith (1997). Predeceased by her parents Frederick Roland Sharratt of London, Ontario and Kate Banks of Durham, England. Dear mother of Gregory Smith and his wife Brenda, and Tamara Donahue and her husband Wade, all of Denfield. Also loved by her grandchildren: Lindsay Denning and her husband Josh, Sarah Smith-Periard and her husband Jason, and and Erin Donahue. Beloved “Grams” to her great-grandchildren who were the joy of her life. Also predeceased by her brother Edward Sharratt of London and sister Dorothy McCulloch of Windsor. Survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews. Long term member of the Sunningdale Golf & Country Club. Cremation has taken place. Samworth for 64 years. Loving mom of Sue Foster (Donald Noble) of Thamesford, Peggy Samworth (Dan Rammage) of Brunner, Nelson Samworth (Susan) of Bayfield and Tom Samworth (Angie) of Orangeville. Proud grandma of Stuart, Chris, Dave, Eric, Jayson, Ricky, Amy, Ryan, Josh, Justin, and Eddie, great-grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren and step-grandmother of 5 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Kaye Tucker and Jean Fontaine. Also missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings.  - Ross Willoughby Ferguson- Ferguson, Ross Willoughby (1935-2014) 
 With great sadness the family of Ross Ferguson announces his passing on April 26, 2014 at London Health Sciences Centre Victoria Hospital. Ross passed away at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Jeanne Ferguson (nee Hodgins) for 48 years. Dear father of Catherine Curran and her husband Shaun of Acton, Murray Ferguson and his wife Grace of Waterloo, Clarke Ferguson of London and Janet Groves and her husband Grant of Erin. Proud Grandpa of Alexander & Julia Ferguson and Ferguson & Quinton Groves. Ross will be fondly remembered by his sister Doreen Gonneau and her husband Keith as well as sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joanne and Jack Mawdsley, Ross Hodgins and Marlene Wyatt. He will also be remembered by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ross was predeceased by his parents Lyle and Grace Ferguson. Born and raised in Westminster Township, Ross was a proud farmer who was always willing to provide help to anyone in need. His style of telling stories delighted everyone with his own unique sense of humour. Family and friends will be received at A.  - Jean (Sharpe) Mapes- MAPES, Jean….. - Peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at University Hospital, London, Jean (Sharpe) Mapes in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Bob Mapes (1975). Loving mother of Scott Mapes and his wife Melinda of London. Proud grandma of Robert Mapes. Predeceased by her parents Roland and Ella Sharpe. Jean enjoyed Nursing and working at Western Counties Wing from 1977 – 1995. She was proud to work with the Veterans and her colleagues. The family would like to thank the staff on the 4th floor of University Hospital, for their care and compassion of Jean. Cremation has taken place.  - Bill Hahn- HAHN, William Chester Jacob “Bill” – of London passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at University Hospital in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Hahn (2013). Loving father of Alan (Sandi), and Bob (Margo). Much loved grandfather of Emma, Matt, Amanda (Mike) and Sara and great grandfather of Chloe and Connor in Winnipeg. Predeceased by his eleven older siblings. Bill was born January 1, 1917 and raised in Toronto where he met and married Jean in 1942. Dad worked at CN Rail in Toronto for almost 40 years before retiring to Guelph with Mom. He loved time spent with family and friends, fishing and gardening. Dad loved to be busy; there was always a project on the go. He never lost his sense of humour and delighted us with his stories that were uniquely Dad. Dad was proud of us all and we were proud to call him Dad and Grandpa. Cremation has taken place.
