At University Hospital November 29, 2014, Lucienne Sandrin of London in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Odovilio “Sandy” Sandrin. Loving mother of Carmen Pommeray of Vichy, France, Ronald Sandrin and his wife Maria of Nijmegen, Netherlands. Dear grandmother of Anica Sandrin of Lyons, France, Charles and Valentin Pommeray of Vichy, France. Dear sister of Cecile Beauchemin-Lalonde of Cornwall and sister-in-law of Lorinda Beauchemin of Embrun, ON. Lovingly remembered by her three nephews, Luc Claude, Francois Maurice and Jean Aime Lalonde and her cousins Marina and Judy Sandrin. Predeceased by her brother Maurice Beauchemin. A memorial service will be held at St. Michael’s Parish, 511 Cheapside Street, London, on Friday December 5, 2014 at 11am with visitation prior to the service starting at 10am. Peacefully surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, London, on Thursday, November 27, 2014, William Brereton of London in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Ruth (Wood) Brereton for 65 years. Loving father of Wayne Brereton (Debra) and Nancy Brown (Doug) all of London. Proud grandfather “Gramps” of Matt (Devin), Adam (Lindsay), Courtney (Aaron), Ashley and great-grandson Cole. Dearly missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Beth, Bertha, Chuck, Ernie, Ab, Alfie, Walt, Lil and Edna and brother-in-law of Dorothy and Irene. Braydon has left footprints on our hearts, with his passing on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the age of 3 years, from Tay Sachs Disease. Braydon is the forever loved son of Amanda Lucier and Mitchell Hillier of London. He is survived by his grandparents Doug Hillier (Christin) and Shelley Grant. Loving great-grandson of Cecil Hillier (Ruby) and Joan Grant. Cherished nephew of Fletcher Hillier (Lisa), Oscar Hillier, Derek Lucier (Melanie), James Lucier and his cousins/playmates; Sawyer, Liam, Cole, Karson, Jackson, and Ava. Predeceased by his grandpa Brad Lucier and great-grandpa Melvin Grant. Friends will be received by the family from 6-9 pm on Friday, November 28, 2014, at the A. Loving mother of Barbara MacIsaac (Bob Rockey) of Pictou County, Nova Scotia and Pat Wannamaker (Ben) of Edmonton, Alberta. Proud nanny of 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Jean Cartwright (Ken) of Yorkshire, England. Predeceased by her daughter Gloria Blaskievich and her sisters Evelyn and Barbara. Loving mother of Robert Buist of London and Dean Buist and his wife Michele of Georgetown. Proud grandmother of Scott, Ian, Tyler, Abigail, Riley and Hayley. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Hazel was a longtime member of First Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Amica for their care and friendship provided to Hazel, over the past few years. Cheryl Kane
Kane, Cheryl Donna (née Bracci)….
Shortly after the sun set on November 20, 2014 with her family by her side, Cheryl’s journey peacefully ended at the London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria at the age of 63. Her life had an impact on so many and her legacy will continue to live on in her children; Karla Friesen (Jude) and Kyle Kane (Cara) and her granddaughter Jada Friesen, who she adored and brought her so much joy. She is now re-united with her true love, her husband Drew (2001), and her beloved parents; Sylvia (2006) and Naldo (2008) Bracci. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her sisters Paula Lamothe (Ron), Patti Livingstone (Malcolm), sister in-law Jackie MacKenzie (James), brother in-law Joe Kane along with her nieces and nephews: Renée Hawkins (Evan), Rob Lamothe (Lindsay), Paul Lamothe (Amber), Kelly Castellani (Carlo), Curtis Livingstone (Kristin), Ellen MacKenzie, Seamus MacKenzie, Shawn Kane and Michael Kane. Her love and friendship will be missed by many including longtime friends, co-workers from Rexall, Shoppers and her neighbours. Cheryl was a kind, generous person who always gave of herself and placed others first. She faced her diagnosis with dignity and tremendous courage, however, in the end, though much too soon, her passing was quiet and peaceful. Please join us in a celebration for this incredible woman. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with prayers at 7:30pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Steet South, London. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00am at St. George Catholic Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London. Interment to follow at a later date in White River, Ontario.
