    Passed away peacefully at home, with family at her side, on Sunday January 4, 2015, in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Mr. Michael Trickett. Loving mother of Melissa (Stephen) Gillson, Christine Trickett, and Marcie (Steve) Hough. Cherished grandma of 6 and great grandma of 4. Sadly missed by her sister Debbie (Ross) Horton. Survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family. Karen enjoyed her times with the ladies in her card club and also her time at the slots. Visitation will be held at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm, where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 1 pm. Cremation to follow.     Passed away peacefully with her mother by her side at Victoria Hospital, London, in her 38th year. Cherished daughter of Patricia Board of London and Donald (Kim) of Sudbury. She will be dearly missed by her special companion Godfre. Goddaughter of loving god parents, Gary and Nelly Piotto of London. Waiting for her are her grandparents; Charles Board of Northbay, Gwendolyn and Peter Ross of Markstay and Lino and Margie Piotto of Coniston. Amber will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her many cousins and friends. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and medical team on the Dialysis Unit at Victoria Hospital for all their compassion and excellent care. A special thank you to Dr. Pol Dulay . Amber will be remembered for her laughter, her funny sense of humor and her beautiful soul. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.     At Parkwood Hospital, London on Friday, January 2, 2015, Frances “Fran” Matthews in her 74th year. Loving sister of Deanna Schuster, David Matthews and Steven Matthews and his wife Lynne all of London. Cherished aunt of Jacqueline (Wendy), Michelle, Chris (Kathy), Lisa (Ben), Dean and great-aunt of Dylan, Tyson, Desmond and Isla. Predeceased by her parents Leo Matthews and Betty Matthews-McCutcheon. With a fierce love of life Fran passed graciously while surrounded by family. Her loving nature touched countless lives and will be remembered with the utmost affection as she made her way in this world enriching every life she added her special touch to.     Passed away peacefully at Westmount Gardens Long Term Care, London on January 1, 2015, in her 91st year. Mary will be fondly remembered by her nephew Ian McInroy, his wife Brenda, their daughter Bailey and son Connor, all from Thornton, ON, for her love of life, music, traveling and all God’s creatures. Mary will be sadly missed by her companion Charles Carmichael. Mary was proud of her career in nursing, graduating from the Toronto General Hospital School for Nurses in 1946 and later getting a degree in nursing education from the University of Western Ontario. She was a nurse for more than 30 years and brought laughter, knowledge and friendship to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Mary was predeceased by her much-loved brother Alexander McInroy (August 2005) and his wife Jean (October 2010) of Barrie, ON. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the 1 p.m. memorial service on Monday, January 12, 2015, A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Loving father of Mary Lynn Hill (Don), John Downie (Josee Mailloux), Dale Downie (Joyce), Carol Pepino (Doug) and Janet Downie (Michael Blow). Proud grandfather of Sean (Lisa), Andrew (Jenny), Katie (Brian), Stephanie (Richard), Suzanne (Scott), and Ian (April) and great-grandfather Owen, Amy, Tristen, and Avery. Dear brother of Ken Downie (Norma). Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Bill and Gerry.     Marion Ruth Mitchell…

    April 1932 – December 28, 2014 Passed into the presence of her lord at home surrounded by family. Marion was the only child of Edward and Myrtle (Askey) Mitchell. Myrtle died in 1943. In 1945 her father married a widow, Edith (Bayley) Heaman, who had a daughter Helen and son Harold. Marion attended S.S.16 Westminster, Scottsville, Beal, and later in 1968 Man Power, to complete her High School. At 16 she went to work at Richmond Hosiery later Lyons of London at Glencoe and U.W.O., Faculty of Nursing, clerk 3. She lived with Miss L. Graham for 20 years in Glencoe. Marion Retired in 1991. Grandparents Joseph and Lizzie Mitchell shared the home with Ed. Myrtle and Marion. Often gramps would play the violin or read her Bible Stories. All her life she enjoyed her dogs, who were loved and trained, especially the Cairns. Her interests were: handwork, visiting, travelling Canada and U.S.A. listening to different kinds of music, reading, eating out, yard sale and bargains, her car and own home. She enjoyed the time spent at Hamilton Road Seniors and Kiwanis Seniors (food and friendship). Many happy times were spent with Jack and Jean McPherson and their family. Marion appreciated and was thankful for many, who have been a help and comfort over the years especially the last four months. Survived by Helen MacPherson, Grace Heaman son David and Bernie Gardner daughter Suzan and cousins across Canada. Predeceased her grandparent and parents, her step-brothers Harold Heaman and Tomas Gardner and her brother-in-law LaVerne MacPherson. The Mitchells’ moved from Tillbury area to Lambeth area 100 years ago. Friends will be received by the family from 2 – 5pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be conducted at Westview Baptist Church, 1000 Wonderland Road South, London on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11am with Reverend David Norton, Officiant.
