Peacefully surrounded by loving family at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Monday, March 7, 2016, Ruby (nee DesRoches) Szanyi, in her 76th year. Loving mother of Sheila Densham (Jonathan), Lewis Szanyi Jr., Joseph Szanyi (Cathy), Richard Szanyi (Sherry), Elizabeth Cooke (Lawrence). Proud Grandmother of Shannon (Gord), Derek, Will, Telsi, Nicole, Sydney and Shawn. Step-Grandmother of Daniel (Amanda) and Robin (Kevin). Forever remembered by sisters Elsie Caverley (Larry), Helen Bowman (the late Mike), Linda Winchester, and Sheila Arsenault (Marcel). Predeceased by her brother Arthur and her granddaughter Anna. With her husband by her side, at Victoria Hospital, London on Monday, March 7, 2016, Helen (Gyorvary) Varga in her 77th year. Helen was born in Budapest, Hungary and arrived in Canada in 1972. Beloved wife of Lajos Varga for over 42 years. Dear sister-in-law of Kathy Nyakas (Joe Ringler), Erzsebet Szabo (Ferenc Szabo), Arpad Varga (Piroska), and Julianna Tokar. Missed by Eva Varga Tothne, her nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers at Anderson Radio. Carter, Mary ……
The Carter family is sad to announce the passing of a cherished family member, Mary Margaret Williams Carter (born 1919) passed away February 16, 2016 at Lanark Place Long Term Care in Kitchener. She leaves behind her son Paul, daughter-in-law Lynda, grandchildren Sue, Andrew (Samantha) and Scott (Leah), great-grandchildren Griffin and Emmerson, dear niece Deborah Carter and her daughter Hannah, and many cousins who will miss her deeply. She has been reunited on the other side with those loved ones who went before her: husband Charles, sister and brother-in-law Barbara and John Drinkwater, father and mother Harold and Lillian Williams, and many cousins and friends who played such an important part in her life. Born in Guelph, Ontario, with time spent in Peterborough growing up, Mary made Hamilton, then Niagara Falls her home for many years before moving to London, Ontario in 1970. In her later years, she moved to Kitchener to be closer to her son and his family. She played golf, rounds of bridge and followed numerous sports on television when she could no longer be physically active. Mary’s life was one of love and generosity and her family and friends were the centre of her world. There was no one who didn’t love her. She was truly interested in everyone she met and made the most of what life handed her in spite of her physical limitations. She was a true example of grace, dignity and kindness and she will be missed very much. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Lanark Place who took such good care of Mary in her final years. Friends will be received by family at A. BOEHM, Debra…… At Victoria Hospital, London, after a lengthy illness, Debra (Egelton) Boehm, in her 59th year. Beloved mother of Matthew Boehm (Michelle) and Jessica-June Boehm. Her loving husband of 29 years is Michael Boehm. Loving sister of Pam Kullo-Egelton (Gary Manning), Charlie Egelton (Jean), Wendy Egelton (Scott MacArthur), and Joy Lajoie-Cowell (Dan Lajoie). Cherished sister-in-law of Linda Gross (Anthony), Nancy Snowden (Terry), Stephen Boehm (Marilyn), Barb Nikyuluw (Ray), Paula Conrad (John) and Maureen Silvera (Tony). Dear daughter-in-law of Rita Boehm. Survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Reunited with her guardian angel and mother June (1988). She will be dearly missed by her many fur babies: Morgan, Gypsie, Sammie, Ollie and reunited with her angel doggie Frodo. Debra was a woman who helped not only her own family, but countless others through her work for over 30 years in the Neonatal Unit. She was an animal advocate and a kind friend to all. Beloved husband of the late Betty (Johnston) Lynch for over 34 years and loving friend of Anna Findlater. Cherished father of Andrew (Kandra) Lynch and Heather Lynch (Nathan Lundrigan). Proud grandfather of Niall, Timothy and Feargus and grandfather to fur babies Kobi, Gryphon and Magnus. Dear brother of Jim (Kath) Lynch, Billy (Beryl) Lynch, Helen Dempsey, Pat McAllister, May Ferguson. Survived by his sister-in law Clare Lynch.
