    Passed away peacefully, with family at his side, on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Parkwood Institute-Veterans Care, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Isabel (Hepburn) Fisher. Loving father of Glenn Fisher and his wife Christine, Pamela Potts, Kevin Fisher and his wife Geri Dibsdale. Dear grandfather of Seanna, Colleen, Rebecca, Stephanie, Ian, Lori, Kayla, Kelsey and Meghan and great-grandfather of Jacob, Abby, Esther, Sarah, Miriam, Gabriel, Joella, Brayden, Micah, Caellum. Predeceased by his daughter Karen Steward and her husband John of BC, his siblings Mabel Fenwick, Clarence Fisher and Florence Mann. Doug’s accomplishments and passions in his life include being the National President of Jaycees, canoe trips, Opera, singing in choirs, sunsets over Lake Huron, his summer place, and most important his family. A special thank you to the staff involved with his care during his time at Parkwood. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, January 27, 2017 at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm, where the memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1 pm. Private family interment at a later date.     Passed away peacefully, on Wednesday January 18, 2017, at Country Terrace Nursing Home, Komoka in her 95th year.  Sadly missed by her family in Ireland and England and her friends in Canada.  At Harriet’s request, no service will be held.     MILLAR, Jacqueline…

    Passed away suddenly, at home, on Monday January 16, 2017 at the age of 63. Beloved wife of Ethelbert “Bert”. Loving mother of Robyn and cherished daughter of Elene and step daughter of Jane. Missed by her siblings, Marie, Mervyn, LaRhonda, Laverne, Patricia and Joyce. Remembered by her aunts Gweneth Springer and Ione Ashby, cousin of Winslow, Jacqueline, Patricia Hunte and many others. Aunt of Jose, Charles, Janelle, Kevin, Steven, Tameeka, Malik, Rommel, Sheena and Darron. Predeceased by her father D’Arcy Hunte. Friends and family will be received by the family at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held, in the chapel, on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 11am.  Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.     NORMAN, Dorothy Jean…
    Passed away peacefully on January 12th with her daughter at her side. Dorothy was in her 92nd year, and enjoyed a long and blessed life. Her kind and gentle personality made an impression on everyone she met. Beloved Mother and Grandmother of Shelley, Tracy, Beth and York. Loving wife of Herb, and dear friend to Ron and Jean Burns, Pat Tonge and Nancy Engelhardt. Dorothy will be missed deeply, but we all take comfort in the believe that she is now happily back beside her beloved Herb, eating all the ice cream she could ever wish for! Sincere thanks are extended to the incredible team at Extendicare for the compassion and support provided.      Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, on Thursday, January 12, 2017, Ted Graham in his 70th year. Beloved husband to Nancy (Walker) Graham.  Proud father to Marieke Graham and her husband Brad Ondrovcik, Jenna Graham and Kate Graham and her fiancé Shane Little. Loving Granddad to Charles Edward and Seeger James. Dear son-in-law to Audrey McKee and husband Jim, brother-in-law to Fran Schneider and her husband Ron, Barb Walters and her husband Rob, Brian Walker and his wife Marilyn and Bruce Walker and his wife Lynne. Godfather to Edward Hutchings. Beloved son to the late Adelin and Curly. Ted was a true renaissance man, passionate and kind. He was a world traveler, from the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro to the heart of the cave systems of Tennessee. He will be remembered for his kindness through the friends he made wherever he went. He believed in tradition and honouring his country, but most importantly he loved his family. There will never be another Ted Graham. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Victoria Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the A.     FEWSTER, L. Blake….

    At home on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017, Blake Fewster of London in his 93rd year. “Ever Loving Room Mate” of Jo (Humphreys) Fewster for 66 years. Proud father of Andrea Manias (Dale), Peter Fewster (Dianne), Pat Fewster (Al Gray) and Tim Fewster (Dianne). Loved “Grumpa” of Mark, Laura, Stephanie, Rebecca Klein (Andrew), Greg, Brent (Heidi Wall), Chris Lengyell (Gita), Taylor Gray, Krystal Murphy (Troy) and Blake. Great-grandfather of Josephine, Landan, Raena, and Paige. Uncle Jake to many nieces and nephews.  Blake joined London Life Insurance Company in 1946 where he had a distinguished career. He retired in 1991 as Senior Vice-President and Chief Actuary. Blake was an active member of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, serving a term as President, and of the Society of Actuaries. Blake was a man of great intelligence, wit and integrity, whose passions included his family, music, church and travel. Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Blake’s life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 3:00 pm at St. James Westminster Anglican Church, 115 Askin Street, London ON N6C 1E7, with The Venerable Nancy Adams officiating. Cremated remains will be scattered in St. James Westminster Anglican Church Memorial Garden.     A gentle soul passed away January 10, 2017, days after celebrating her 100th birthday. Predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend Fred (1993). Loving Mother to Rick (Karen), Joanne and Ted; special Mother-in-law to Joyce; proud Grand-Ma to Mike (Lorna), Bill (Joanie), Lisa (Rod), Sheryl (Vince), Christine (Jason) and Jennifer (Karl), and Great Grand-Ma to Chrystal, Billy, Rebecca, Zachary, Luke, Wendel, Max, Matthew, Kyra, Nicholas and Tori. Dear Aunt to her Laidlow, Lauckner, McDonald, Potter, Swayzie and Walper nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her loving son, Chick, and cherished sisters and brother Doris, Bett, Terrie and Chuck.  A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at A.     WYSE, Kenneth “Ken”… Peacefully at Western County Wing at Parkwood Hospital on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, Ken Wyse passed away in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Dutton) Wyse (1987). Dear father of Jacqueline “Jackie” Montague, her husband Jean also, David Wyse, his wife Wendy. Cherished grandpa of Tammy, Kenneth, Shannon, Michael, Danielle, Ashleigh, Kristal, Amanda and their families. Also missed by many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Richard “Dick” Wyse (1997), and brother Norman Wyse (2001). Ken served in RCAF as an aero engine mechanic and worked for the Brewers Warehouse for 35 years. The Wyse family wishes to thank the staff of Western County Wing for their excellent care and compassion while Ken was a resident.     Helen Mary Bourke (Davidson)….

    Following a long illness, Helen  passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Queen’s Village in London, Ontario.  She is predeceased by her loving husband Andrew and son Michael, and by her beloved lab Ashes.  Helen happily resided in Oakville, and enjoyed a lengthy career as a nurse in the OTMH nursery.  She leaves behind daughter Patricia and son in law Mark McCallum, grand children Kathryn (McCallum) and husband Scott Stewart, Jordan McCallum and great grandson Andrew Stewart.  She will be missed by all.
