Unexpectedly but peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, Cora Valentina Da Silva passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, a few weeks before her 59th birthday. Beloved mother of Lionel Rossignol (Sabrina). Adored grandma of Gabriel, Massimo and Sienna. Loving companion of Moyston Williams. Cora will also be greatly missed by her many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and Lionel’s father, Lionel Rossignol Sr. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 pm at the A. Peacefully in his sleep at his residence on Saturday, June 29, 2024, Andrew Mailer passed away in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Helen (Garrett) Mailer for 32 years. Proud and loving father of Dan Mailer and his wife Annemarie of London, Wendy Martin and her husband Jamie of Rockwood, and loving step-dad of Christopher Figgures and his wife Andrea of Balm Beach and Lisa Joworski and her husband Brad of London. Adoring Gramps of Ashley, Briana, Kendra, Lindsay, Brailyn, Lucas and Caden. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Andrew was a proud member of the London Fire Department for 30 years and took great pride in serving his community as a Captain. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024, from 2-4 pm and Monday, July 8, 2024, from 10-11 am, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. It is with sadness the family announces that mom got her final wish, and peacefully passed away at home with her family on Friday, June 21, 2024, in her 98th year. Beloved wife for nearly 72 years to the late Herb Ballantyne (2022) and daughter of the late Harry and Florence May. Cherished mother of Jackie Ann Campbell (Peter) and Peter Ballantyne (Pat). Loving grandmother of Sheila Ballantyne (Hugh Samson), Kathryn Ballantyne (David Palmateer), and Jamie Campbell. Wonderful “GG” to Russel, Hyder, Logan and William. Special aunt to Paul Caldwell (Marilyn) and Stephen Caldwell.
Growing up in London, Bev attended South Collegiate and the University of Western Ontario, where, as a cheerleader, she met her quarterback for life. Bev was an active member of First-St. Andrews United Church and volunteer for many organizations. She loved her many summers at Grand Bend, winters in Sandestin, curling, golf and bridge at Highland and the Hunt Club with so many great friends, but her biggest joy was her family who gave her so much happiness.
At Beverley’s request, cremation and a private family inurnment will take place at Oakland Cemetery, London where she will be laid quietly to rest beside Herbie. Peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at University Hospital, London, Beverley passed away in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Scott Lamb (2007). Loving mother of Kim (Bob) Lamb-Chawah. Cherished grandma of Jamison. Predeceased by her sister Ruth Corniellie. Dear aunt of Janice (John) Powell and her children Ashley and Emma. She will be lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends. Beverley was a rock to her friends, providing unwavering support and love throughout her life. Her passion for reading and gardening filled her days with joy and wisdom. Above all, her grandson Jamison was half her heart and brought her immense happiness and pride. Robert “Bob” Easterbrook, of London, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the age of 63.
Beloved father of Jesse Easterbrook. Loving son of Catherine Easterbrook and the late Bob Easterbrook (2007). Dear brother of Mary-Catherine Lochrie and Mike Easterbrook and his wife Kelly. Cherished uncle of Melissa, Chrissy, Marcie, and Tim Lochrie and great-uncle of Layla, Nixon, Silver, Bentley and Hudson. Also survived by his aunts and uncles Felice Desmaris of Windsor, Marcel Gagnon of Windsor, Gerry Gagnon (Shirley) of Kingsville, Jeannine Campbell (Al) of Amherstburg and Germaine Flaxman (Bob) of Bloomington, MN, and his many cousins.
Bob has been an avid fan of anything with wheels his whole life. From Hot Wheels to bicycles, to cars, to motorcycles, to 18 wheelers, to street rods. Running the quarter mile at St. Thomas was his greatest accomplishment. Being a double amputee using hand controls never stopped him.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. With family by his side, Gunars Liepins passed away peacefully in his 89th year on June 13, 2024. He is survived by Sharon, his wife of sixty years, and daughters Melinda (Scott) Mapes, Laura (Jason Russell) Liepins, sister Silvia (Witold) Gesing, and predeceased by sister Velta Allbutt. Gunars was a proud grandfather to Robert Mapes and Thomas Russell. He is also survived by several nephews, a niece, and by extended family in Latvia.
Gunars was born in Riga, Latvia to Karlis and Olga. The family emigrated to Canada in 1949, and Gunars worked for many years at consulting engineering firm Hastings and Aziz. He was a man of many interests including golf, hockey, soccer, gardening, travel, fine food, and lively discussion. He always strove for excellence and encouraged others to do so as well. Gunars is deeply missed but forever loved. Visitation will be held at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London from 2:00 – 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm. Cremation has taken place and will be followed by interment at a later date.

Wilfred “Willy” Hollis McClean passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario, the morning of June 4th, 2024, at 8:16am in his 74th year. Beloved father of Kimberley Allong. Grandfather “Papi” of Scarlette Grace Allong. Dear brother of Iva McClean Weekes (Canada), Clivia Hayes, Debra Bradshaw, and Russel McClean (USA), Janice McClean, Kenneth McClean (Kenrick) (Trinidad & Tobago). Pre-deceased by his parents Alfred McClean and Olive Agatha McClean (nee Knights) and his brother Mervyn McClean. He is an uncle, cousin and brother-in-law of the respective spouses. Last but not least, a dear friend to many.
Willy grew up in Trinidad & Tobago and migrated to Canada in the 1970’s. Working in restaurants, Willy always had a passion for cooking. He played the steel pan in Trinidad & Tobago, having brought it with him to Canada as one of his great joys. He also enjoyed travelling every year to his home country.
The family would like to thank the Victoria Hospital 6th floor palliative care unit’s doctors, nurses and PSW’s for all their wonderful care of Willy. Special thank you to Dr. Jonathan Griffith. They would also like to thank Earls Court Village SVCH long term care doctors, nurses and PSW’s.

Loving partner of Qing Qing Wang and her daughter Fei Fei Peng. Dear father of Kayla Wilson (François), Bryan Hunter (Emma) and Lauren Mardlin Murphy (Cole). Grandfather of Samuel and Fèlix, Franklin, Winnifred, Louella and Ava. Survived by his sister Deb Wilson-MacLeod (Marianne Denkers). Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Elizabeth Wilson.
Stephen will be dearly missed by his friends in his new neighbourhood of St. Thomas. He will be remembered for his love of books, gardening, good walks, and a passion for writing.
