It is with great sadness the family announces that Martina (Doosje) Egbers passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s – Mount Hope, on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Jan Egbers (2010), loving mother of John Egbers (Amy), Tina Baker and Rei Egbers (the late Kate Kelly). Cherished Oma of Jennifer, the late Chris, Paul, Colin, Reed and Adrian. She was blessed to have 10 great-grandchildren; Joab, Kai, Lila, Liam, Noah, Quinn, Desmond, Arlo, Kai and Wes. Predeceased by her brothers Wim, Jan, and Joop. Martina will be missed by her sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews in Holland. A special thanks from the family goes out to the 3rd floor staff at St. Mary’s, for the kindness and care provided. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (3-4pm) to the Memorial service being conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 4pm. At the age of 89, at London Health Sciences Centre-University Hospital Catherine passed away on May 2, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Vasyl Baranowsky. Dear mother of Walter Baranowski, Timothy Baranowski (Jill) and Alexander Baranowski (Katherine). Cherished grandmother of Bradley, Ryan, Brent and Nichola. Predeceased by her sonn Michael Baranowski and her sister Jacqueline Cru. The funeral liturgy will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday May 13, 2017 with The Very Reverend Vladimir Morin officiating. Passed peacefully at Westmount Gardens Long Term Care, London on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, Dorothy Clark in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Clark (2002). Dear mother of James Clark and his wife Marilyn, Dean Clark, Cheryl Foster and her husband Ron Tipping, Ron Clark and his wife Lynn, Brian Clark, Carol Marsh and her husband Paul, Dan Clark and his wife Donna all of London and Christena McElroy and her husband Rick of Milton. Cherished Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brother and sisters and their families. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Westmount Gardens Long Term Care facility, especially those who were close to her in the Yellow Rose Neighbourhood who showed Mom much love and compassion during her stay. Courageously at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London on Sunday, April 23, 2017 Edgar Johannes passed away in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Mary. Dear father of Nancy Thibert and her husband Bob. Cherished grandpa of Jennifer MacDonald, Michelle (Shaun) Bonnallie and Jamie (Katrina) Thibert. Proud great-grandpa of Sydney and Tanner MacDonald, Brady and Peyton Bonnallie and Adrianna Thibert. Brother of Norma (Harold) Sharpe and brother-in-law of Marg Gay. Predeceased by his daughter Gail, his parents Edward and Hazel Johannes and siblings June Fisher and Ted Johannes. Ed was an employee of Victoria Hospital, London for over 40 years and a long-standing member of Wortley Baptist Church. A special thank you is extended to the CCAC, the Dialysis Unit at Victoria Hospital, Dr. Scott McKay, Dr. Adam Power, Dr. Amit Garg and St. Joseph’s Hospice for their care and compassion. Peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2017, Monica (Benn) Fischer, devoted wife of Robert passed away at Victoria Hospital, London, in her 77th year. Daughter-in-law of Marietta Fischer of Ilderton. Monica was the last of eleven children of the late William and Minnie Benn of St. Thomas, Ontario. She was predeceased by sisters Ann Webster, Kathleen Tomasi, Mary Soper, Barbara Westaway, Helen Mills, Jacqueline Sanborn and Vivian Swanson and three brothers Gerald, Jack and William. Survived by many nieces and nephews. With respect to Monica’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation. A private family interment of Monica’s cremated remains will be held in Telford Cemetery, Ilderton.
