    Ubuntu
“I am what I am because of who we all are”

October 28, 2022 Marks the Passing of Our Family Matriarch

My grandmother never used the word Ubuntu, but she embodied it. Ubuntu means humanity. It means you are a collection of every person you’ve crossed paths with. It means never passing up the opportunity to help another person when you can. It’s the quickness to help someone without judging them. It is the understanding of unlimited wealth from interpersonal relationships. It’s doing the right thing – even when it puts you in danger. She will live on through me and all those whom she touched.

She will be missed by her only child, Ann Marie, her grandchildren, Talithia and Rashad. And, her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.

Please join our family in celebrating her life.
Share your stories and memories of her.
Help someone and think of her.

With Love, from all of us.

Friends are welcome for visitation on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 5-7 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Pastor Ian Mills of Jubilee Church. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London.

With Love, from all of us.
