    de BOER – Antje sadly announces that on Tuesday November 5th 2002 at Parkwood Hospital, in his 87th year, the Lord took home her beloved husband of 66 years, Willem de Boer. Dearly loved by his three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Dolores of London, Martin and Beth of Burlington, and Art and Sylvia of Stratford. Cherished Pake of eleven grandchildren; William, Michael, Kenneth, Mark, Annette, Andrea, Douglas, Allison, Jennifer, Pamela and James. Also will be lovingly remembered by twelve great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his sister Hinke of London and his brother Franke and Hieky of Waterloo. And in the Netherlands, by his brothers Sjirk and Jannie, Herre and Hollie, and sister in law Coba. Predeceased by his sister Lo and his brothers Ate and Feike. Will also be fondly remembered and missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, in their large extended family, both in Canada and the Netherlands. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Parkwood Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, for their exceptional and compassionate care of Willem. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Friday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be conducted at Immanuel Reformed Church, 266 High Street, London, on Saturday November 9th at 10 A.M. with Reverend Art VanderMeulen officiating.
