    Unexpectedly at his residence, Kenneth “Ken” St. Clair passed away in his 49th year. Loving father of James St. Clair, Gavin St. Clair, Emma St. Clair and Nevay Tyne. Grandfather of Brandin Collins Jr. Ken will also be missed by his loving partner Abby Hope and his dear sister Kelly Terry (Wayne). Cremation has taken place.     Lois Wilson (Kidd) of London and formerly of Kincardine passed away quietly at University Hospital, London, on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the age of 75, with her nieces Wendy and Pamela Wiltink by her side. Beloved daughter of the late Jean (2009) and Ivan Wilson (1949). Loving mother of Michael McIntosh of London, Laura Brown of Pembroke, and James Kidd (Shannon Dobbs) of St. Thomas. Cherished grandmother of Chelsea, Ryan, Kieran, Aiden and Iris. Predeceased by her sister Janet Goodall (2013). Lois will also be missed by her great-nieces, Tara and Meranda and great-nephew Dustin. A private graveside service will take place in Kincardine Cemetery, Kincardine. In memory of Lois, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society Canada or the Humane Society London & Middlesex.     It is with deep sadness and love that we mourn the passing of Maria Argelia Lozano de Herrera of London, Ontario and originally of San Vicente, El Salvador on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the age of 102. She was predeceased in 2009 by her beloved husband of 63 years of marriage, Marcelo Eduardo Herrera, at 89 years of age. Loving mother of Maria (Hector) Barrientos, Antonieta Herrera, Marcelo (Ney) Herrera, and Wilson Carlos Herrera. Proud grandmother of Carmen, Ana, Hector, Juan, and Joaquin (Julie) Barrientos, Marcelo, Carlos Alfredo, Susana, Oscar, Reyna, Larissa, Fatima, Gabriel, and Tanya Herrera, as well as Katherine Preciado Herrera and predeceased by Anthony Preciado Herrera. Predeceased by her sister Roselia Delgado (‘Tia Chela’) and survived by her sister Emma Coralia (Armando) de Angel. Missed by her nieces Ivette and Maritza Angel, Ana Lupita (Ricardo) Santos, and her nephew Vinicio (Kimberly) Angel. Also missed by many great-grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 and from noon-1pm on Wednesday, September 28 with the funeral directly following at 1pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London.     With her family by her side, Wilma passed away peacefully at the age of 90, on September 20, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Donald Clayton. Wilma leaves behind her loving children, Nancy and Dennis Hicks, Wendy and Adrian Rockx, and Steve and Colleen Clayton, together with her grandchildren Robert (Katie) Durno, Jamie (Kristina) Hicks, Christina (Jamie) Fox, Andrew (Rhiannon) Hicks, Thomasena Smith (Mitchell), Joshua Hicks (Rebecca), Clinton Smith, Donald Clayton and Nicole Clayton (Brandon). Along with her great grandchildren Nick, Ethan, Molly, Tyler, Dylan, Beth, Lilyanna.

    With a lifelong passion for travel, Mom saw the world. She loved to entertain her friends and spent countless hours around the pool with her family.

    Friends and family are welcomed to visitation on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London.     Peacefully with family at her side, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Victoria Hospital, London, Wilma passed away in her 60th year. Beloved soulmate of Perry Requina for 25 years. Proud mama of Kim (Larsen), Miki, Myka and Milo. Dear sister of Alma and Rick (Jona). Wilma will be lovingly remembered by the Requina and Calica families. Cherished daughter of Pedro and Francing and daughter-in-law of Dodong and Lily. She will also be missed by her loving friends, many colleagues and all who knew her.

    Wilma was full of life. She loved to laugh, smile, socialize, sing, dance, eat – especially with family and friends, and loved capturing every moment with pictures. She was artistic in many ways including baking, jewelry making, and scrapbooking. She was a fashionista, but on a budget and was proud of it. She was hardworking, loved what she did and the people she worked with and for. Wilma was a woman of faith, prayed fervently, worshiped whole-heartedly, and served passionately.

    Family and friends are welcomed for visitation on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow.     1940 – 2022

    David’s childhood was blessed growing by Stratford’s Lake Victoria, discovering baby wild life nestling along its banks; drawn to an everlasting love and talent for music within his family home of his dad, J.T. Priest. David too was blessed with two children, Jane and Quinn.

    David’s life was closed by cruel cancer but not without constant attention and caring by friends Ryner Stoetzer and Mary Aziz-Stoetzer, outstanding staff of Westmount Gardens – Iris Unit, and life-time bud sister Ann Pike.

  • Lee Walker Evans

    WALKER EVANS, Lee…

    October 16, 1946 – September 16, 2022

    Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her home.

    Lee was predeceased by her mother Barbara Jean McDermid, her father Sydney Brooks Walker and her brother-in-law James Mahon. She is survived by her husband Derwyn, daughter Amy (Jeff Foran), son Tom (Ali Shaver), grandchildren Wyatt and Oona, her sisters Bonnie Mahon and Sue Walker (Richard Lloyd) and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

    Lee was active in her community and in politics, striving to always do what she felt right for her family and her neighbourhood. Lee donated her body to the Schulich School of Medicine at Western University.

    A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, September 20 from 2:00-4:00 pm in the meeting room at the Fred Landon Branch of the London Public Library, 167 Wortley Road, London, Ontario.

    In remembrance of Lee’s life, donations would be gratefully accepted at London Food Bank, Nature London, or a charity of your choice.

  • Alice Bronaugh (Brona) née Gonzalez

    BRONA, Alice…

    On Thursday, September 15, 2022, Alice died peacefully at home after a short illness. Alice is survived by her beloved daughter Cynthia, her dear brother Paul, and many, much-loved nephews and nieces. Trained as a nurse at St. Joseph’s in Toronto, Alice chose to serve in public health. 

    During her 83 years Alice lived mainly in London, joining many local interest groups, including La Leche League, The Circle at Brescia, the Raging Grannies, and a poetry group.

    She was passionate about employment equity, the environment, and co-op housing.  Deeply spiritual, Alice was also an Associate of the Sisters of Loretto.  Looking back on her life she always referred to the many wonderful places she had been to, and especially enjoyed working briefly in Florida and living in England for two years, in Oxford. Her visit to Labrador was another highlight for her.

    Funeral and interment will take place at Old Lakeview Cemetery in Thorold, Ontario where Alice was born.

    Muriel Lotz passed peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Victoria Hospital, London in her 98th year.

    Predeceased by her spouse Dr. Frederick Lotz, her brother Hilliard McLean and her sister Marie Stoddart. Muriel was a loving, dedicated and loyal mother to her children Lorraine Leader of Saskatoon, Dr. Catherine Walsh and her husband John of London, Sandra Lotz of Delta, B. C., Anita Gulliver of London and Caroline Lotz of London. Her strength and independence will be forever remembered by her grandchildren Magdalena (Arthur) Luna and Oliver Leader, Natalie (Mike Neilson) and Ben (Jaclyn) Gulliver, Matthew and Ciara (Cole McGuffin) Walsh and Maxwell Margel. Her wisdom and legacy will be passed for generations to come through her great grandchildren Foster and Scotlyn Neilson and Neve McGuffin.

    Growing up on a farm in Honeywood, ON with her beloved dog Sport, she was a self described ‘tomboy’, and would reminisce about the times she would ski to school. Muriel grew up to be a nurse and spent her career at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Guelph, ON. In retirement her competitive side excelled with a game of bridge, she became an avid knitter and baker, she had a love for the roses in her garden, but most of all she enjoyed her time with her family. Her socks and treats were gifted to all those she loved.

    The family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Victoria Hospital.

    A private graveside service will take place. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, London. A celebration of her wonderful life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with A.     Lloyd Courtney, of London, passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter, on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Shirley L. (nee Pollock) Courtney for nearly 72 years. Loving father of Paul Courtney and his partner Debbie Soucie of Peterborough, Carol Anne Courtney-Lee and her husband Mark of Cambridge and Michael Courtney and his wife Diane of London. Cherished grandfather of Ryan (Melissa) Courtney, Brie Anne (Alex Moore) Courtney and Sean (Nicole) Courtney; Dane Lee, Blair Lee and Jasmine Lee; and Nicole Kaiser (Adrian), Kailey Courtney and Derek (Maddy Wilson) Courtney. Dear great-grandfather of Maeve, Weston, Rhett, Nyah, Cooper and Evie. Dear brother of Joan MacKay of Ripley, Mervyn Courtney and his wife Gloria of Toronto and Shirley Harris and her husband Robert of Huron Township. Also survived by Karen Courtney, mother of Ryan, Brie Anne and Sean Courtney and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Florence Courtney, his sister Evelyn Rice and his brothers-in-law Grant Rice and John D. MacKay.
