Patti Daniel
DANIEL, Patricia Anne
28, August 1965 – 18, November 2022Our dearly cherished Patti has left us and is now resting in Peace with her beloved parents and brother.
Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Gladys Daniel, as well as her older, adoring brother, Stephen Daniel.Survived by her dedicated sister Janice Daniel, her devoted nieces, Jessica Fediw (Stefan), Kimberly Daniel (Neil W), Samantha Daniel, Marnie Brunton (Neil B) and her devoted nephews, Aaron Daniel and Scott Daniel along with many precious great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Patti was a very special lady with a dynamite personality who was very active in her younger years with work, special Olympics and horseback riding. She had a smile for everyone and a cheeky, “you’re cute” for any man she met. Patti was a world class mini golfer who mastered the art of cheating. She loved her music, specifically, Charlie Pride and Christmas was her favourite holiday. She was our sunshine.
To the world, she was Patti. To us, she was our world. She will be missed dearly by everyone who’s heart she touched. Rest In Peace, our sweet angel.
Friends are welcomed for visiting on Thursday, November 24, 2022 from 6-8 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Nancy Flynn
FLYNN, Nancy…
Quietly, with family by her side at Fox Hollow Retirement Home, London on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Nancy passed away at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband Peter (2013) and her son John (2012), Nancy was the proud mother of Michael (Margaret), Kathleen (Martin), Kyle (Mary), James (Janet), John (Shellie), Anne Louise (Tony) and Mark. Loving grandmother of Erin, Julie, Jared, Arlie, Laura, Lisa, Brieuc, Justin, Carolyn and Kristen and great-grandmother of Josie and Ivy. Dear sister of Kathleen Czap.
Along with raising her seven children, Nancy worked for many years right up to her retirement from UWO – DB Weldon library. She enjoyed many active years of community involvement as a long-time member of St. Martin’s parish, a member and past president of the Catholic Women’s League, joyful participant with Young at Heart Singers and with Boys’ and Girls’ Club, volunteer with Hospice and devoted friend and caregiver to many, especially those in need of support or the comfort of one of her classic freshly baked pies, banana loaves or cookies! What a wonderful legacy of caring she has given all of us.
Until recently, Nancy enjoyed excellent health, and in her retirement a true highlight was travel and time spent with her sister Kathleen. Her pride and joy in life revolved around family and was reflected in her warm and unforgettable smile.
The Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at St. Francis-St. Martin’s Catholic Church, 46 Cathcart Street, London. Friends are welcome to the visitation one hour prior (10:00-11:00am). Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. James “Jim” Taylor
TAYLOR, James “Jim”…
Unexpectedly but peacefully, James “Jim” Taylor passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at University Hospital, London, at the age of 73. He was the adored husband of Rose Bee, who he met later in life through the church. Beloved father of Cynthia Christina Taylor, Jonathan Taylor, Melanie Vidal (Santiago) and Amanda McGraw (Wesley). Cherished grandpa of Nathaniel, Rudayna, Maximo, Gabriel, Hannah and Aidan. Dear brother of Ron Taylor (the late Heather) and Jean Erstling (Mark). Predeceased by his parents Roy and Mae. Jim was a bookkeeper by profession and although semi-retired, he was still bookkeeping up until his death. He was an honest business man and was most known for his personal income tax business. His hobbies included sports, board games, the crossword and model trains. Jim was a devout Christian up until the very end. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:30 am at Woodland Cemetery, London (please meet at the front gates for 11:15 am). At her residence peacefully on Monday, November 14, 2022, Ruth (Eckenswiller) Van Slyke was in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her children Ricky Van Slyke, Ava Gibbons, Geoff Van Slyke, and her daughter-in-law Linda Van Slyke. Loving grandmother of Chris Van Slyke (Lydia) and Darryl Van Slyke. Cherished great-grandmother of Devan, Aidan, Tia, Tori, and Charlotte. Loving sister of Betty Perpich, Robert Eckenswiller, and William Eckenswiller. A dear friend of Jim Apostolopoulos. Ruth will be missed by her family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the A. Peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2022, Reverend H. Douglas T. Fuller passed away at Veterans Care 2 Perth, Parkwood Hospital, London in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Emberley) Fuller. Dear father of Terry, Keith, the late Reverend David Fuller, and the late John Fuller. Cherished grandfather of six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by ten nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, five brothers and three sisters. Doug joined the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve in 1941 and served until the conclusion of World War II in 1945. He later joined the Royal Canadian Navy and sailed from 1956 to 1973. Following his time in the navy he returned to the Diocese of Huron in several parishes from 1973 and retired in 1988. A private family service has taken place. Cremation has taken place. Brian Stevens
STEVENS, BRIAN……
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brian Terrance Stevens at Victoria Hospital, London, On., on Friday, Nov.4/22 in his 76th year. Brian was the beloved husband and best friend of Judi (Cunningham), most loved dad of Ben (Kathy), Jonathan (Mandy) and Erin (Daniel) Silverstein and dearly loved grandpa of Jordan, Jarrett, Caleb, Allison and Jonah. Fondly rembered by the mother of his children Sue Ferri.
Brian was the devoted son of Alfred and Florence (Olsen) Stevens (both deceased), brother of Stephanie Phillips (deceased) and uncle of Mark Phillips (Jenn). Survived by many cousins and by Judi’s extended family in Guelph.
Brian experienced declining health for the past several years, but we are happy he had private times with each of his children this past week and had a very peaceful passing early in the morning after reaching out to Judi on the phone. His love for his family was beyond words and Brian always looked forward to deep conversations with his children and visits from his grandchildren and friends. He will be greatly missed. Sports occupied a huge part of his life from playing rugby in university, coaching his kids in baseball and being a supportive Dad with rugby, baseball and waterpolo. His later years were spent watching college and NFL games and more recently Formula 1 racing. Even Judi has become a fan!
A celebration of Brian’s life will be held Friday, November 11, 2022 from 1:00-3:30 pm at the A. Millard George Reception Centre, 60 Ridout Street South, London (located on the south east corner of parking lot). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson’s Society of Southwestern Ontario or the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada would be greatly appreciated. Sadly, at Middlesex Terrace on November 3rd, Steve Hervoly of London, in his 87th year, died peacefully. Loving father of Travis and Edward. Dear friend of Donna Robinson and Jocelyn Ainsworth. Dear brother of Ann Drake. Dearly loved by his granddaughter Leah and her partner Craig. Predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Margaret, as well as his sisters Margaret Pongratz, Veronica Lane and Isabel Langford. He will be sorely missed by several nieces and nephews.
Steve enjoyed playing the mouth organ for his fellow residents. Many thanks to the staff at Middlesex Terrace, especially Dr. John Marcou and physiotherapist Dharmesh Patel.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Francis, of London, on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the age of 80 years, at home with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Linda for 56 years. Loving father of Tracy (Rob) Park and Kimberly (Greg) Francis. Proud Papa of Emily (Adam) Johnson, Robert, Finn and Reese. Dear brother of Barry (Audrey), Bonnie (Roc) and Bruce (Irene). Greatly missed by his sisters-in-law Gloria (Dave) Jackson and Sandy Grover. Predeceased by his parents Bob (2014) and June (2013). Remembered by his nieces and nephews, and his many cherished friends and neighbours.
Bob was a one of a kind man who made an impression on everyone he met and who made you feel special in his presence. He was most proud when spending time with his grandchildren, at the beach, on the snow hills or in the pool, he was always there. He loved working as an Insurance Adjuster across Canada and the United States for 50+ years, his time at the YMCA, and spending time with many lifelong friends. The family wishes to thank his doctors and especially Leslie Russell from the Bryon Family Medical Centre for all of her help and support.

Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Victoria Hospital, London a few days shy of his 99th birthday. Predeceased by the mother of his children Erica. Cherished father of Marina, Carol, Brenda, and Richard. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren. Elliott was an accomplished athlete and was very proud of his career as a civil engineer with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
