Doris Flatt
FLATT — At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, on Thursday April 1st 2004, Doris (Barnes) Flatt of London and formerly of Sarnia, in her 86th year. Loving wife of the late Norman Flatt (1995). Survived by her loving sons Barry and his wife Ruth of Brantford, and Glenn and his wife Irene of London. Will always be remembered by her granddaughters Mary Flatt of Brantford, Lynnanne Flatt of Etobicoke and Gail Jamieson and her husband Paul of Brampton. Predeceased by her infant daughter Lynda (1940). Doris retired from Sears Canada, Sarnia in 1974, and was a member of Moose Lodge No. 1046, Sarnia. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Saturday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the complete funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Sunday April 4th at 2.30 P.M. Cremation. HAY — At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus, on Tuesday March 30th 2004, Pearl Irene (Long) Hay of London in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Alex M. Hay (2003). Dear mother of Peter James Hay and his wife Mary of Thorndale, and Mary Jane Fry and her husband Brian of London. Loving and devoted grandmother to Rebecca and Jason Neyers, Sarah Fry and her partner Andy Hancox, Robert and Michael Hay; and her great-grandson Lucas Neyers. Dear sister of Elmer Long of London, and predeceased by her brother Wilmer Long and her sisters Hazel, Evelyn and Pauline. Dear sister-in-law of Lorna Getliffe and her husband Ray, and Connie Hay all of London. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Honouring our mother’s wishes that her passing be as she lived, quietly, there will be a family graveside service only at Woodland Cemetery, London. No visitation. Allison (Drennan), Edna Norraine, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Kensington Village Nursing Home on Friday March 19, 2004. Edna of London, was in her 72nd year. She will be sadly missed by her husband Robert, predeceased by her son Jim. Lovingly remembered by her children Gary Allison and his wife Susan of London, Bonnie Galloway and her husband Keith of London and Cindy Masse and her husband Tim of London, and by her daughter in law Lynne. Dear sister of Verla Allison of London. Predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters. Loved by her grandchildren Jamie and wife Cathy, Jason, Robyn, Cassie, Kyle, Emilee, Ethan, her great-grandchildren Emma and James, and many nieces and nephews.
