It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kurt Gerull who passed away at his residence in London on Thursday, February 3rd, 2005 in his 84th year. Kurt will be missed by his loving wife of 49 years Ruth (Klatt) Gerull. Dear father of Marion Gerull and her partner Karen Huiberts and Angela Gerull-Upton and her husband Dwight all of London. Loving grandfather of Dylan and Rachael Upton. Dear brother of Helmut Gerull of Germany. Predeceased by his sister Irmgard Kuls. Kurt will be missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends in Canada and Europe. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 1 to 4 pm. on Sunday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday, February 7th, 2005 at 1:00 pm. with Reverend Jeffrey Smith of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Reverend R. Evan Fleming McLagan, passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, January 26, 2005. Loving husband of the late Lorraine (1997). Beloved father of Ron McLagan and his wife Lynn of London, Ruth McLagan and her husband James Bridgland of Ingonish Beach, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and Ken McLagan and his wife Ruthanne of London. Caring grandfather of Sarah McLagan, Michael and Kathryn Bridgland and Karyn and Kaitlyn McLagan. Dear brother of Annetta Savage of London, Keith McLagan and his wife Ilene of Mitchell and Donald McLagan and his wife Roslyn of Ingersoll. Predeceased by his sisters, Donalda and Grace and his brothers Campbell and R.D. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Bea Pettit of Markham. Evan was a retired secondary school teacher with the London School Board and a former minister with the United Church of Canada. He has also been a very active member of Calvary United Church. At Evan’s request, his body was donated to the Department of Anatomy, University of Western Ontario.
