Doris Muir (Wood) Sterne of London, passed away at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus, on Wednesday April 27th 2005, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Charles W. Sterne. Dear mother of Robert A. Sterne, and Christopher J. Sterne and his wife Cynthia all of London. Dear grandmother of Carly and Jonathan Sterne. Also loved by her 2 brothers John and Robert Wood, and her twin sister Jean Andrews, all in England. Predeceased by her sister Bettie Sturt. Cremation has taken place, and a private funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London (433-5184), with Reverend Chris Kraatz of Mount Zion United Church officiating. Suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre – University Campus on Saturday, April 23rd, 2005 Maria (Janossy) Enekes of London in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Tibor Enekes. Dear aunt of Janos Janossy and his wife Catherine of Walkerton, Andras Janosi and his wife Margit of Munich, Germany, and Leslie Enekes of Guelph. Dear sister-in-law of Margit Janosi Janosne, and Julia Janosi Andorne both of Hungary. Maria will also be missed by her 2 great nieces Margo and Kinga, her 1 great nephew Ferenc all of Germany, Sister Jean Moylan and her good friends and co-workers Alma Cox and Barbara Hazelwood. Friends will be recieved by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday, April 27th, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. Jane’s gentle spirit and kind-hearted manner will be forever missed by those who filled her life. Always more concerned for others and encouraging, Jane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. After a long and brave struggle with her illness at Parkwood Hospital, London on Sunday April 17, 2005. Betty Anne (Woolcox) (French) Palmer, age 79 of London, Ontario. Dear mother of Linda Caldwell and her husband Dan of London, Rick French and his wife Debra of London, and Rob French and his wife Karen of Ottawa. Much loved Nana of Matthew and his wife Katlin Caldwell of Toronto, and Nicholas and Sam French of Ottawa. Also survived by her brother Gerry Woolcox and his wife Ginny of Toronto. A memorial service will be conducted at the A. Millard George Funeral Home 60 Ridout Street South, London on Saturday April 30, 2005 at 1:00pm with Revrend Darrell Shaule officiating. BOX — Jack Edward. Having fought a courageous battle with cancer, Jack passed away on April 13, 2005 in his 80th year. Proud and loving father and grandfather of Lynn Wright (Dale) and their children Laura and Allison of London, Gordon (Anne Miner) and their children Katie, Mathew and Maggie of Mississauga, Doug (Robin Watson) and their children Madelaine and Willie and Greg and his wife Wendy (Beauchamp). He is survived by his sister Ruby Humphries of London and brother Bruce Box of Vancouver. Dear brother of the late Ivan Box and May Smith. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
