Margaret Pearl Powell
A teller of tales . . . a dreamer of dreams.
A fountain of fashion . . . a planner of schemes.
Could this be one person? You think it untrue?
Just look again dear . . . for that person was you!
Look back on your life — take stock of the years,
And all you accomplished through laughter & tears.Remember the children, how they took your hand?
Remember the stories — adventures you planned?
How you nursed us in sickness and shared in our pain,
No thought of reward — no question of gain. You were a lady of grace, you stood out in a crowd,
Just count your achievements — be thankful & proud!
You always looked to the future — so much to be done,
The joys to be conquered — love to be won!
Kept building your bridges — planning those schemes,
Remember that you were our weaver of dreams.POWELL: Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital, on Thursday, March 30th, 2006 Margaret Pearl (Babcock) Powell of London in her 81st year.
