Suddenly on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006 Edward Charles Howard Phelps of London in his 67th year. Dear brother of Jim Phelps and his wife Sharon of Lindsay; David Phelps and his wife Ellie of London; Don Phelps and his wife Sally of Vancouver, BC and Margaret Fenwick and her husband Paul of Sechelt, BC. Also lovingly remembered by his 13 nieces and nephews and his great-nieces and great nephew. Ed will also be missed by Peter Adams and Elias St. Brice as well as many friends and colleagues. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Friday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday, May 6th, 2006 at 1:00pm with Reverend Dr. Douglas H. CADDEY — Peacefully at Elmwood Place Retirement Community, London, on Tuesday May 2nd 2006, Christine (Furness) Caddey of London in her 45th year. Beloved daughter of Hazel Furness of London and the late Edward Furness. Dear mother of Shawn Caddey, Angela Herman and her husband James, and Sarah Caddey all of London. Predeceased by her infant son William. Also loved by her sisters Linda and Debbie, brothers Roy, Victor and Ross, and 2 grandchildren Joshua and Kaeden. Peacefully at Providence Manor Nursing Home, Kingston, on Monday, May 1, 2006, Agnes Emily Giles, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Thrupp and the late Sidney Giles. Predeceased by her sons Gerald and Antony and her foster son Larry Hill. Loving mother of Marguerite of Kingston, Brian (Lois) Thrupp of Goderich, Keith of Brockville, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Macaulay of Saskatoon. Predeceased by her sister Frances Boulaine and brothers George and William Chatterton. Sadly missed by her sister Rose Thompkins of Windsor and her sister-in-law Georgina Chatterton of Stourbridge, England. Fondly remembered by her 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family extends sincere appreciation to the staff of Providence Manor for their loving care and compassion. Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London, on Monday, May 1, 2006. Harold Stanley Heddle of London in his 92nd. year. Born, November 23, 1914 in Hamilton to the late Elizabeth Williamson (1922) and the late James Heddle (1967). Beloved husband of the late Frebi (Tanner) Heddle (1993). Sincerely missed by all his children, Elizabeth Paliwoda, John (Sole) Heddle, Norma (Leo) van Loon and Stanley (Clare) Heddle. Sadly missed by his 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by his oldest son Harold James Heddle (2004), a grandson and a great-granddaughter, his brother Raymond Heddle (2006), son-in-law William Paliwoda (1988), step-mother Mildred (Sheppard) Heddle (1975) and sister Elsie Jean Heddle (1922). Fondly remembered by You Yuan Qi (Jenni), You An Qi (Angi) in China and Helen (Corbett) Heddle. Also survived by his sisters Mary Noon, Dorothea (Don) Monteith, Ruth Williams, Eva (Fred) Trecartin and sister-in-law Alice Heddle. Harold fought valiantly during World War II with the Elgin Regiment and later the Sherbrooke Fusiliers, as a tank commander. He was seriously wounded at Clair Tizon, France on August 14, 1944, where he lost his left leg during an assault. Harold was active at St. Stephen’s Memorial Anglican Church during the 50′ s and 60’s and was a lifetime member of St. David’s Lodge No. 302 A.F. & A.M. of St. Thomas. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday, May 4th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment of cremated remains in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London. A Memorial Legion Service will be held in the chapel Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. under the auspicies of Duchess of Kent Branch No. 263 Royal Canadian Legion. Dear grandmother of Nathaniel LeFaivre, Melissa and Phillip Holmes and her great grand daughter Destiny. At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, April 26th, 2006, Bill Lindsey of London in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Heather MacLeod. Dear father of Randy Lindsey and his wife Judy of Brampton, Pam Golab and her husband Jerry of London and Pat Lindsey and her husband Andrew Clark of Ottawa. Predeceased by his son Brent Lindsey (1979). Loving grandfather of Kelly and her fiance Derek Richards, Megan, Brianne, Dave, Ben and Nick. Dear brother of John Lindsey and Janet Nickart both of Windsor. Predeceased by his sister Nora (1976). Bill had a zest for live and always saw the positive in all situations. He will be remembered for his humour and for his friendly smile. Bill believed in giving back to his community and volunteered at many charitable organizations. Bill will be missed by his family and numerous friends. Cremation.
