Ronald Lawrence, in his 65th year, following a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Beloved husband and best friend of Bonnie. Cherished son-in-law of Gord and June Foster and loved brother-in-law of Rick and Sandra Foster and Kim and Pete MacFarlane. Special friend to Debbie and Don Parker and loving Godparent to Jacob and Elyse Parker. Dear father of Wendy Shores (Mark), Patti Bell (Kerry), Victoria Taylor (Robert) and Ronnie Earle, grandfather of 9. Predeceased by his mother Helen and his father Frank. Survived by his stepmother, Kathryn Earle, stepbrothers Brian (Karen), Steve (Diane) and Gary (Ferne), and many nieces and nephews. Ron was an active and lifetime member of WOF & GPA, where he served as president for 2 years. He will be remembered by his many friends for his zest for life and his sense of humour. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday, August 30th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Proud grandmother of Ian, Amy, Scott, Tim, Erica, Leila and Elise. Predeceased by her beloved brother Cliff Donaldson. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
