    George Allan Ross of London, passed away on Saturday September 30, 2006 at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, in his 90th year. Devoted husband for 59 years of Ruth Ross. Cherished father of Ellen Denomy and her husband Michael. Loving grandfather of Brandon and Melissa. Allan was proud to have been a life member of the Old Comrades Association, 48th Highlanders of Canada. Mentioned in Dispatches for actions in Italy, he also served in Sicily and North West Europe. A great out-doorsman, some of his happiest hours were spent canoeing in Algonquin Park, Quebec and the Yukon. Predeceased by his brother John Andrew Ross of Ottawa and several highly esteemed brothers-in-arms. The care and attention displayed by the staff at Parkwood Hospital and the Medical Floor at Victoria Hospital have been greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place.
