Loving wife of the late Jack Demas. Dear Mother of Lorraine (Gary) Swanson, Helen (Bill) Hurn and Tom (Debbie) Demas. Survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Forever remembered by her siblings Ruth, Ken and Louise. Predeceased by her sister Violet and her brother Fred.     Peacefully at University Hospital, on Wednesday, April 30th, 2008, William “Bill” McClinchey of London in his 75th year. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (McDonald) McClinchey (2006). Devoted father of Derrick McClinchey and his wife Miriam of London; Debbie Giles and her husband Gord Ross of Lambeth; and Jeff McClinchey and his wife Jeanette of London. Also loved by his grandchildren Caitlin, Ashley, Tanner, Tyler, Jeff, Adam, Paul and Jonathan. Loving brother of Sarah Crockwell of Grand Bend; Dorothy MacDonald and her husband Keith of Edmonton, AB; Grant McClinchey and his partner Irene McCann of Grand Bend; Don McClinchey and his wife Gail of St. Malo, MB. Predeceased by his parents Garnet and Agnes McClinchey; his brothers Keith, Bev, Jack and his sister Betty Scott. After growing up in Seaforth, Ontario, Bill served in the Royal Canadian Navy and fought in the Korean War. Soon after he married Barb and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force allowing them to enjoy traveling the world. After retiring from his 33 years of duty with the Canadian Armed Forces, Bill and Barb settled in London. Here Bill enjoyed working for General Motors until his retirement. Bill and Barb enjoyed spending summers in Florida and California. Bill was a proud member of the Legion, the Masons and most of all a loyal fan of the Leafs. Bill will be fondly remembered by all his neighbours and friends. Now in passing Bill has been reunited with Barb where they can continue their adventure. Special thanks to the staff of University Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family on Sunday from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where a celebration of Bill’s life and a Legion Service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion, Lambeth Branch No. 501 will be held in the chapel on Monday May 5th at 1:00 pm with Reverend Frank Mantz officiating.     At McCormick Home on Friday April 25, 2008 Mrs. Agnes Kathleen (MacCorkindale) Meldrum in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late William Ellis Meldrum (1986). Also survived by her sister-in-law Beth MacCorkindale of Owen Sound, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Robert and Hugh MacCorkindale, her sisters Ruby Philp and Tina Hogg and her niece Joan (Philp) Racine. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at McCormick Home at a later date. Interment in Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa. Finally his prayers were answered and Elmer joined his beloved wife and best friend the late Nellie (Wilson) Long in Heaven. Mr. Long was a co-founder of Wood Lynn Farms Limited. Dear father of Ted Long and his wife Sherri and Catherine Morrison and her husband Larry all of London. Predeceased by his parents James and Lillian Long, his brother Wilmer Long, his sisters Hazel Blaney, Evelyn Long, Pearl Hay, Pauline Long and his son Gerry Long and his wife Irene. Much loved grandfather to Jim Long and his wife Sarah, David Long, Dennis Long and his wife Mari, Christine Long and her husband Dean Gocan, Dan Long and his wife Amy Lepage, Merieh Gibbs and her husband Steve, and Jina Stainbrook and her husband Duane; great-grandfather to Ryan Long and his wife Nadine, Rhianna Leitch and her husband Jason, Spencer and Aidan Long, Katie, Bella and Sophia Long, Bo and Paige Gocan, Mikaila, Gage and Riley Gibbs and Bridger and Cooper Stainbrook, and great-great-grandfather to Neisa and Arianna Long. Predeceased by her loving husband William Charles “Bill” (1982). Loving mother to the late William Andrew “Andy” Pugsley (1986), the late Charles Michael “Mike” Pugsley (2006) & Marilyn (Stuart) Phillips. Nell was predeceased by her siblings Neil Currie, Ethel Finnigan & Anne Haines. Dear Grandmother to Pam, Wendy, Kylee, Tracy, Cindy, Michael, Evelyn, Gwen & Conrad. GG will be lovingly remembered by her many great grandchildren. Nell will be fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Kathryn Brum & her devoted nieces Joanne, Mary-Ellen & Katherine.
