Dear father of David and his wife Linda, Paul and his wife Alison and Steve all of London. Dear brother of Robert B. and his wife Rita of Calgary. Also loved by his grandchildren Michael and Kevin both of London, and Jacob and Tom both of Vancouver. Cremation has taken place.     Marion Carroll passed away peacefully in her one hundredth year, at Norview Lodge, Simcoe on April 8, 2009. Marion was predeceased by her husband Richard Gauld Carroll (1951) and her son-in-law Gary Sims (2002). Marion is survived by her daughters Patricia Sims (George Jacob) and Susan (Alf) McLellan, grandchildren, Scott (Cheryl) Sims, Adrienne Sims (Chuck Butchart), Dr. Nathan McLellan and Andrew McLellan. Marion is lovingly remembered by her family as a wonderful mother and as the consumate grandmother. Her spirit of courage and determination is a wonderful legacy left to all who have known her. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Chestnut Hill, Norview Lodge, who with their loving care made her final year most comfortable. Marion’s funeral service will be held in the chapel of the A.     At Parkwood Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday April 6, 2009 Pierre “Peter” Jean-Marie Marcel Moulin of London in his 93rd year. Long time partner of Gladys Lillian (Payne) Moulin. Dear father of Dwight Moulin and wife Shelby, Carolyn Naus and husband John, Heather Roch and husband Armand and Brenda Lee Serres and husband Michael. Loved grandfather of Jana, Tamara, Kimberley and Mark Moulin, Jeff Northey and wife Amy, Jodi Halsema and husband Dave and Andrew James (A.J.) Naus, Michael and Adam Roch, Amanda and Sean Serres. Also missed by his great granddaughter Avery Marie Halsema and survived by his sister Lucy Therens. Predeceased by his son Steven Moulin, granddaughter Kelly Northey and his cherished friend Evelyn Harker. Our dad was a proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. Peter was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, the War Medal 1939-45 and also the Royal Canadian Air Force “Operational Wings”. Friends will be received by the family on Monday, April 13, 2009 from 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South, London. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 46 Cathcart Street, London on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow.     Peacefully, at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, on Friday, April 3rd, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family David Sloman in his 71st year. Dearest husband and best friend of Ann (Fitzgerald) Sloman. Deeply missed and very much loved by his daughter Wendy, and her husband Jamie Kilgour and grandchildren Heather and Luke, and son Karl and his wife Kristine, and their children Taylor and Olivia. Also by his dear brothers Peter and wife Virginia Sloman of Ingersoll, John and wife Thelma Sloman of Sussex, England and Christopher Sloman of Kent, England. Predeceased by his brother, Ronald Sloman of Kent, England. Also his favorite sister-in-law Eileen (Fitzgerald) Willis and her husband Richard of Sussex, England and brother-in-law Ronnie Fitzgerald and his wife Stella of Kent, England. Also loved by his special niece Sandra and husband Stan Robinson, of Kent, England and his many nieces and nephews and friends in Canada, the U.S.A. and the UK. Following service in the Middle East and Europe with the Welsh Guards, David and his family moved to Canada in 1966 where David served law enforcement for 35 years, the last twenty with the Provincial Government. He joined Centennial Lodge No. 684 A.F. & A.M. in 1973, and served as Worshipful Master in 1997. He was Past Most Wise Sovereign of London Valley, Rose Croix, Scottish Rite and Past Potentate of Mocha Shriners. He served as Secretary of the Mocha Alumni Unit, Commander of Mocha Legion of Honour, Drum Major and President of Mocha Shriners Trumpet Band and was a “cuzzin” of Mocha Hill Billy’s Clan # 59. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Tuesday and 3-5 and 7-9 pm Wednesday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday, April 9th at 1:00 pm with Reverend Kate Hathaway officiating.
