SODAWATER, Lorie……Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Monday, December 7, 2009, Lorie Sodawater of London in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Gloria (Stidolph) Sodawater. Loving father to Pam Browne and her husband Gord, Linda Rowe and her husband Dave all of London. Dear grandfather to Diana Browne and her fiance Dave Ross, Mike Rowe, Craig Browne and Kevin Rowe all of London. Lorie was a cub leader for 25 years at St. James Westminster Anglican Church and a community volunteer. He was an employee of the P.U.C. for 46 years. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 3-5 and 7-9pm on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the A. Loving mother of Jennifer Lynne Dundas of Winnipeg, Leslie Anne Shillington of Calgary and Edward Bruce Dundas of San Francisco. Cherished grandmother of Alexander Dundas of Sussex, England, Richard Cameron Shillington of Edmonton and Kelsey Evelyn Shillington of Edmonton. Dear sister of Keith Overbaugh and his wife Peggy of Port Rowan, Gordon Overbaugh and his wife Carol of Langton and Janice Jukes and her husband Bill of Port Dover. Sadly missed by her several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Winston “Pete” and Dorothy Overbaugh. Barbara was a graduate of the Victoria Hospital School of Nursing earning her RN in 1955. She was a 3 term councilor in Lobo Township in the 1970’s and a registered nurse and nurse educator at the Strathmere Nursing home, Strathroy, Ontario. Barbara was also on the advisory board of the Ontario Provincial Parks Commission. Friends will be received by the family from 12:00 – 1:00 pm on Friday, December 4, 2009 at the A. Beloved daughter of the late Flossie and Virchie Hazelwood. Cherished sister of Ralph F. Hazelwood and his wife Shirley of London. Predeceased by her brother Ross Hazelwood Sr. Dear sister-in-law of Joyce of London. Longtime cherished friend of Alma Cox and her family. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews: Ross Jr. (Karen), Sharon, Wayne, Gary (Emily), Karen (Al), Kirk (Susan), Dana (Julie) and her many great-nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara became a nurse in 1949 and nursed across Canada, and in 1988 retired as the Director of Nursing at Parkwood Hospital.
