    OEHM, Nellie Catherine……Passed away peacefully at her residence in Delaware with her loving family around her on Saturday, February 20, 2010, Nellie (Currah) Catherine Oehm of London in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Frederick “Wray” Oehm for 53 years. Cherished mother of Judy Lynn Oehm of Delaware, Ontairo and Larry Oehm and his wife Theresa of Tillsonburg, Ontario. Proud grandmother of Ryan Oehm and his fiancee Edurne Ganem and Kyle Oehm and his wife Jennifer Mansfield-Oehm, Marc and Adam. Loving sister to Alice Kalbfleisch, Anne Kelly, Norma Mitchell and Louis Currah. Predeceased by her brothers Donald and Austin Currah and her sisters Elsie Heinbuck, Doris Heinbuck and Barbara Hicks. Dear father of Dulcie Cartlidge and her husband David of Glencoe. Also loved by his grandchildren, Jason Kells (Aidann) of Petawawa, Tara-Lynn Rutherford (Craig Meldrum) of Peterborough , and Christina Gavell of London, his great-grandchildren, Piper and Kaleb Kells, Braydon Rutherford, Matthew Meldrum, Mikenzee and Joshua Wheeler, and his sister Millie. Predeceased by his 3 sisters and 3 brothers.     At University Hospital, London on Wednesday February 17, 2010, Charles “Charlie” Sinclair Wilkinson in his 99th year. Beloved husband of the late Hazel L. (Crossan) Wilkinson (1982). Dear father of Shirley Ann Lockhart and her husband Walter of London. Survived by his nieces Nancy Heron (Robert) and Barbara Bett (Michael) and nephew Glen Ross (Hilda). Predeceased by his brothers Ralph and Lorne Wilkinson. Charlie was born on November 2, 1911 in Westminister Township and lived there for over 30 years. Prior to moving to London, he lived in London Township for over 50 years. He was a former employee of London Print and Lithographing. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the A.     Barbara Heasman was Promoted to Glory on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at home. Born in Halifax on June 17, 1919 to Salvation Army Officer Missionary parents, Brigadier William & Ivy Bexton, Barbara spent her early years in China, along with her two sisters, Muriel and Eudora. Returning to Canada, David was born. (predeceased) (Jean). Barbara married Bob Foreman in Chatham, Ontario in 1943 and Heather was born in 1951. Bob was Promoted to Glory on New Years Day, 1959. On June 19, 1971 Barbara and Jim Heasman were married in London, Ontario and she was mother to Ron & Donna. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and favourite aunt, she always placed Jesus first in her life and was a living example of those strong beliefs to her family. Her husband, Jim, daughter, Heather Moyle, grandchildren, Benjamin Moyle (Misty), Nathan Moyle (Jessica), and Erinn Moyle (Rick Jones), great-grandchildren, Booth, Nathan, Ivy, and Pepper; extended family Donna Stanco (Tony), their children Paula, Michael, Andrew, and Dominic, and Ron Heasman (Catherine), and their sons, Matthew & Kyle; adopted son, Ben Dobson and family; sisters, Muriel Douville (Joe predeceased) and Eudora Watt (Frank), Wendy Casey and many other nieces and nephews, will miss her quiet ways, laughter, and sound advice.     Peacefully at Woodlands of Sunset, Welland on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, Alice (Oakley) Monks in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Edward “Harry” Monks (2003) for 63 years. Loving mother of Nancy McNeil (Doug), Karen Zanutto (Foster) and Terri Bulman (Vince). Cherished Nana of Anne, Susan, Janet, John, Catherine, Peter and Christopher. Proud great-Nana of Allan, Anthony, Patrick, Jade, Hayden and Violet . Dear sister of Ted Oakley (the late Ruby). Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Also missed by her nieces and nephews. The family would also like to thank the staff on Maples at the Woodlands of Sunset for their outstanding compassion and care. Alice was a devoted mother who inspired the imagination of her daughters through her story telling, her ‘song for every occasion’ and her introduction to the love of reading at an early age. Her voice of proper conduct will always be in our ears. She was a constant partner to Harry supporting him with her lengthy letters during their years of absence during the Second World War and helping him operate Monks Electric. Always a shy person, Alice blossomed during their retirement years in Buckhorn. She was a volunteer at the Buckhorn Community Centre, the local library, the Horticultural Society and the Historical Society. Alice could always be counted on for her famous pies for fundraising bake sales, making sandwiches for Remembrance Day ceremonies and providing treats to whoever dropped in. Always a sympathetic listener, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews were drawn to Buckhorn for tea and talk. Friends will be received by the family hour prior (12noon – 1pm) to the Celebration of Alice’s life on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 1:00 pm, at the A.
