Harrison (1989). Dear mum of Teresa Moore (Geoff) and also missed by her husband’s two daughters Pamela Schindler (Big John) and Trudy Rose of London. Loved grandmother of Andrew and Christopher Henry, Dawn and Cherie Rose, Becky and Gordon Schindler, and Tammy Bonilla and 4 ½ great grandchildren all of London.     Born in Lithuania in March 1928, immigrating to Canada in the 1960’s, raising a family and taking on the role of father, grandfather, friend and life-long partner of Mary. Alfred was released from his pain late on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at University Hospital. Alfred is survived by his wife Mary (Dean) Garnaitis, son Roger, daughter-in-law Barbara and three grandchildren Nigel, Rachel and Leah. He will be missed in many ways by his family and the unnumbered individuals who received a hand of friendship, cup of coffee or stories from his long history of work and experience. Alfred was a kind and generous individual taking uncountable opportunities to help those who were left on the side lines of life. After retiring from the City of London – Operations Department, he volunteered his time at Parkwood and University Hospitals for a 14 year period until his health could not meet the daily demands. Cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 7-9 pm at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. A celebration of Alfred’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:30am. Spring interment in Woodland Cemetery, London.     Peacefully at Longworth Longterm Care, London, on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, Helen M. (Sullivan) Clarkson of London in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur C. Clarkson (1986). Loving mother of Tom Clarkson and his partner Louise of Toronto and Jim Clarkson and his partner Teresa of London. Helen was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother, who will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at Longworth for their care and compassion. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9pm, on Friday, April 8, 2011 at the A.     CHIVERTON: Myrna Eileen- Passed away peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, on Monday, April 4th, 2011. Much loved wife of Maurice (Ev.) Chiverton. Survived by her daughter Lisa, and dear grandchildren Veronica Jolise, Jake Robert Evans, and Jacqueline Suzanne Slavik. Predeceased by her son, Mark Andrew Chiverton, her mother Dorothy and her sister Barbara. Also, survived by her beloved God Children, Beckie, and Gavin (Laura) Collishaw, and their parents John and Wendy; Chelsea and Dillon Kay, and their parents Michelle and Terry, as well as dear Friends Rod and Pam Wilker. In Myrna’s full life, she had a great passion for her Champion Dachshunds, sewing, quilting, and gardening. Her early life was filled with many outdoor activities including travelling to hockey games in and around the London area, boating on the many area lakes, and navigating her favourite Northern fresh air sanctuary, on Georgian Bay. There at the cottage Myrna and her tenderly beloved husband shared many fun loving times with children, grand and God children, other relatives, and friends and company. The many histories and sweet memories of exciting days at the cottage will live on forever in our hearts, where Myrna always had time for all of us. In her last few years, she enjoyed many a peaceful day at the cottage, amidst her crafts, markets, and endless hours of relaxed reading. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the A.
