Peacefully in his sleep at Victoria Hospital, London, on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, John “Jack” Campbell in his 74th year, formerly of Wawa, Ontario. Beloved husband and best friend of Helen (Vlaad) Campbell for 47 years. Loving father of Leanne Campbell and Melanie McMillan and her husband Marty, all of London. Cherished grandpa of Martin, Marshall, Julia and Nathan. Dear son-in-law of Bill Vlaad and brother-in-law of Bill Vlaad Jr. (Diane) and Tom Vlaad (Lise). Predeceased by his parents Harry and Helen, and his brother Richard. The family would like to thank the staff at Victoria Hospital C6 and C7 for their compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Masonic Service under the auspices of Ashlar Lodge No. 610 A.F. & A.M., will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 6:30pm. GENEST, Jean…..On Tuesday, January 3, 2012, Miss Jean Genest in her 80th year. Beloved sister of the late Judge Maurice Genest (2006) and his wife Susan of London. Predeceased by her mother Mertel Turner Henderson (1996), her father Maurice Alphonse Genest (1939) and sister-in-law Beverley (Martin) Genest (1979). Loving aunt of Paul Genest of Kearney, Ontario, Lorraine Genest Martin and her husband Rick of London, David Genest and his wife Dawn of Aylmer, and Mark Genest of Strathroy. Dear great-aunt of Brent, Faren and her husband Matt, and Matthew. Jean enjoyed a successful career at Ayerst Pharmaceuticals for many years. She loved to paint, read, knit and was an extensive traveller. Jean has been a long time member of St. Anne’s Anglican Church (Byron).
