  • Charles Malcolm “Chuck” Pulford

    PULFORD…………
Charles Malcolm in his 92nd year, made his departure late Friday night December 21, 2012 at Parkwood Hospital with his son Geoff and daughter-in-law Roseanne there to bid him farewell. He is also survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Greta, his son Brent and his grandchildren Andrew, Christopher and John. Charles, or “Chuck”, will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor, his generosity and insatiable curiosity. A dedicated golfer for most of his life, he cherished the days he spent at Sunningdale Golf Club where he’d been a member for over 50 years. Among his many achievements, most of which he rarely spoke of, he was especially proud of the year he spent as president of the London Kiwanis Club. An accomplished woodworker, his meticulous handiwork and finely wrought furnishings remain as a testament to a hobby that brought him great personal satisfaction. But to those closest to him, he will best be remembered for his loving spirit, easy wit and his uncanny ability to put others, regardless of who they were or where they came from, at ease. Though he is missed already, family and friends are ever richer for the lifetime of truly fond memories he leaves behind. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27th at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the service will be conducted in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Thursday.
