After a courageous battle with cancer, John Collier lost his battle at Victoria Hospital, London on Thursday, November 14, 2013, John was in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Patricia (Coutts) Collier. Dear brother of Joe Collier. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Beth Miller, Patricia Abbott and Hester Stellard. Sangster and the late Ronald A. White. Loving mother of Dr. Sandra L. Sangster of Aurora and her late son William “Bill” Sangster (2013). Dear mother-in-law of Christine Sangster. Also remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families and sister-in-law Betty Sangster. Predeceased by sister-in-laws Margaret Macfarlane and Norma Stretton, and her brother-in-law Robert Sangster. Specially missed by her “grand-poodles” Eddy and Roxy. A special thank you to her devoted caregiver Katarina Duras. Also sadly missed by her childhood friend, Eileen Sims. Loving grandfather of Jennifer (Craig) Nowak of Waterloo, Andrew Hyde (Corine Thomson), Kristen Cheng (Joel Robitaille) and Tyler Cheng all of London. Jerry was a card carrying member of the Progressive Conservative party since the age of 18 and held many municipal offices in Belleville, Ontario in the 1950 & 60’s including City Mayor in 1958-1959. Peacefully of complications from a fall at home. She was 64. Anne is survived by mother, Muriel Cochrane (London), brother Gord Cochrane (London), sister Madeline MacClean (Nova Scotia), sister Jean Cochrane (Los Angeles), sister Cathy Kiem (San Diego) and brother Allen Cochrane (San Diego) and various relatives across Canada. Anne had many health problems over the years but survived them all and had many good friends. She enjoyed good books and poetry along with sports and a variety of other interests. She will be sorely missed by family and friends. Anne will be cremated. A visitation will be held at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Wednesday, Novemeber 6 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Charity of your choice.
