    Unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, Fred Mowat of London, in his 49th year. Beloved partner and best friend of Rita (Lalama) Messeroll for 8 years. Cherished son of Heather and Malcolm Richardson. Loving father of Danielle and Ryan Mowat and stepfather to Jake and Marissa Messeroll. Dear Brother to Leona (Steve) Meisner, Michelle (Chris) Kelly, Pam (Andy) Hall, Debbie (Doug) Laird and Tammy (Rev) Mitchell. Fred will be fondly remembered by nephews and nieces who loved him very much. Fred was a devoted, dedicated, respected and founding member of Phantom Thunder MC and will be forever known to many as “T-bone”. Dear Sister and Sister-In-Law of John (Jack) and Jean Marshall, Warren (Jim) and Dolly Marshall, and William (Keith) and Elaine Marshall. Dear friend of Thomas Gibson, all of London (pre-deceased by all). Cherished Aunt “Snue” and Survived by Nieces and Nephews Nonnie (Don) Lawlor; Stephanie (Tom) Greenside, Tanya (Bob) Murray; Bob (Barbara) Marshall; Sandra Daniels-Marshall; Bill (Kate) Marshall; Gary (Heather) Marshall; Greg( Rosalind) Marshall, and pre-deceased by nephew John Marshall. Also loved by 15 Great, and 15 Great-Great Nieces & Nephews. Loving Cousin to Marilyn Cowan. Elaine Graduated from Victoria Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1940 and worked at Victoria Hospital Cancer Clinic for many years as Head Nurse until her retirement in 1983. Dear friend to many, Past Matron of Order of the Eastern Star, Bethlehem Chapter 136 (former Ruth Chapter). Member of Daughters of the Nile, Omar Temple #111. Long-time member of Calvary Church Second-Milers group. Elaine’s passion was Travel, visiting many, many Countries, crossing many decades to scratch her “Itchy Foot”. An avid Painter of Oils and China, Handcrafter with knitting, crochet and weaving. Her hands were never idle. She enjoyed her pool and gardens. Elaine was a very Special person to many, and will be treasured and missed by all. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the A.     Passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at Victoria Hospital at the age of 71.Beloved husband of Connie Sargant.
    Dear brother of Bill and his wife Ann Sargant of Burlington.
    Also survived by his brother-in-law Gerry and his wife Els Gobel of Belgium. Predeceased by his brother Jack and his wife Esther Sargant.
    He will also be missed by his niece Nathalie and nephews Jeffery and Leigh. Alan spent his life as a research food chemist and was the founder of the London Ice Cream Company.Visitation will be held at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 2-4pm. A Celebration of Life will take place in the spring. Loving mother of Tom Anderson and his partner Jenn Hoff, Trevor Anderson and his wife Lois, Terry McKeracher and her husband Doug and Tracy Silk and her partner Scott May. Cherished Granny of David, Ryan, Brett, Bryce, Stephanie, Kimberly, Courtney, Brennan, Jaime, and Jessica and Great-Grandmother of Chloe, Brock, Violet, Archie, Essery, and James. Edith will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Survived by her cousins in Australia and England and by her friends Don and Joan Shewfelt and friends Helen and Alice. She will also be missed by neighbors from Foster Avenue. Winnie worked at A. Talbot LTD for 44 years and she was an active volunteer at the Kiwanis Senior Centre for countless years. A heartfelt thank you to Walnut Court staff and the medical team at Victoria Hospital. Cherished grandma of Kevin, Sara Lynne, Neil, Leanne, Marie, Yvette, Michelle and 6 great-grandchildren.     Peacefully in his sleep on Sunday December 14, 2014 at University Hospital, Bob Sutherland of London in his 90th year. Dearly beloved husband of the late Audrey Sutherland. Loving father of Janet (Mike) Salter, Nancy Sutherland (Jim Blumsom) and David Sutherland. Cherished grandfather of Colin and Eric Salter and Matthew, Robert and Bradley McLellan. Also survived by his sister-in-law Sheila Sutherland. Uncle Bob will also be missed by his niece and nephews. Pre-deceased by his brothers David and Ronald. Bob served in WWII with the Royal Canadian Navy. He worked for Nortel for 40 years both in Montreal and London, was an avid golfer and card player in his retirement and a frequent ‘texter’ with his grandsons.
