At Earls Court Village, London on Friday, June 7, 2019, Cornelia Maria de Hoog of London passed peacefully in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Arie de Hoog of 65 years. Loving mother of John (Elly), Jennifer, Cora (Don Darling), Arie (Kerry) and Tom (Nancy). Cherished Oma of Adrienne, Simon, Robin, Katelyn, Morgan and Kyle and great Oma of Carter and Dylan. She will be missed by her dear sister Eva Burger of Reeuwijk, The Netherlands and her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Earls Court for the care that they provided to Mom. Friends will be received by the family at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 7-9 pm and on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 10-11 am. Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, at University Hospital, London, on Monday, June 3, 2019, Marjorie Chilvers passed away in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill Chilvers (2009). Loving mother of Wendy McBride and her husband Raymond, Debbie Pangborn and her husband Steve, David Chilvers and his wife Patricia, Peter Chilvers and his wife Michele and the late Alice Chilvers (2018) and her surviving friend Nelson. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Dawn, Justin, Darren, Stephanie, Joanne, Lee, Heather, Katie, Nicole, Elizabeth and Adam, step-grandmother of David, Tyler, Monique and Alain and great-grandmother of 29. Predeceased by her grandchildren; Douglas, Christopher, Melissa and Kelly and her sisters; Eileen Walters and her husband Wilfred and Jean Curtis and her husband Chesley. Marjorie will be sadly missed by her family, her friends, and all who had the chance to know her. Marjorie’s family will be forever grateful for the understanding and compassionate care provided by the staff of The Waverly while she resided there. We are also extremely appreciative of Dr. Ziada as well as the nurses who cared for her in her final days at University Hospital. Friends will be received by the family at the A. Peacefully with his family by his side at University Hospital, London, on June 2, 2019, Ron passed away in his 70th year. Dear son of Alice and the late Ronald C. Helwig. Cherished brother of Karen Mote and her husband Larry, the late Bryan Helwig (Debbie), the late Linda Taplin (the late Tom) and Dan Helwig (Linda). Loved uncle of Kala, Brandon (Ashley), Tanner, Ryan, Holly (Josh), Avery, Ashley, Jennifer, Jim and Nancy and great-uncle of Mikayla, Emily, Cameron, Aria, Christopher, Billy, Michael and Nicholas. Ron will be so sadly missed by his best fur baby, Max and all of his friends at the 1194 Commissioners Road Complex. Peacefully, rejoining her beloved husband Gray of 55 years, Ruth Knapp passed away at home on Friday, May 31, 2019 in her 93rd year. Cherished by her son William “Bill” and his wife Cathy-Lee, and daughters Margaret “Peggy” Sudnikowicz and husband John, and Mary Jo Addison and husband Rick. Will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Emily (Jeff), Amanda (Trevor), Will (Missy), John Gray (Kim), Alex (Megan), Katie (Cam) and Laura (Tyler). Great-grandmother of many, with one more on the way. Loving sister of Jo Ann Alexander and her late husband William. Ruth taught at Huron Park in Centralia. She was also was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for over 25 years and loved playing bridge and partying with the Parkhill Gang Bridge Club. Ruth loved gardening, her orchids were her babies, and cherished the support of her condo neighbours. She enjoyed many summers at the family cottage on Browning Island in Muskoka. Friends and relatives will be received by family on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 10-11am at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, with a funeral service following at 11am. Survived by his wife, Barbara Craig, his children Rebecca Ingram (Tim), Natalie Hunter (Kory), Amberley Hockley (Steve) and seven grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister, Marie Pomfret. Will also be missed by his cousins Elaine Fitzgerald, Jane McIntyre and Jim Johnson, as well as many friends in Canada and overseas. Lee fell into his final sleep on Friday, May 24, 2019 with his soulmate and his pet at his side. He is predeceased by parents Madeleine and Robert Saker, stepmother Helen Saker, brothers Don and Robert Saker, and in-laws Joseph and Rosa Vereecken and Randy Ellwood. He is survived by his soulmate Linda Vereecken, sisters Lois and Laura Saker, sisters-in-law Patricia Saker, Cheryl-Ann (Bob) Fisher and Catherine Ellwood, nieces and nephews Gordon (Yvette), Kirk (Korina), Jennifer, Kelsey-Ann (Cody), Stephanie, Jocelyn (Adam) and a great niece and nephew. Lee was employed by General Motors and was involved in drag racing and other motor sports. He also enjoyed all outdoor projects. He will deeply be missed by all his family and friends. It is with heartfelt sadness that we wish to announce the passing of Ian MacLean on Friday, May 24, 2019, with his family at his side at home. He was the beloved husband of Silvia MacLean for 43 years and is survived by his four sons, Michael (Kelly), Peter, Christopher (Andrea) and Daniel. As well, he is also survived by his much-loved grandson, Jack, and beloved granddaughter, Isabel. Jack and Isabel gave him great joy and love. Ian leaves behind his treasured cats (Lug and D.J.) who were a great comfort to him. Ian was born in Walkerton, Ontario and is predeceased by his mother, Florence Gilchrist (1977) and his father, John MacLean (1979). He spent much of his life working in retail. The greatest gift that Ian leaves behind is his love for his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
A very special thank-you to the outstanding care he received from his medical team: Dr. Tetelbaum, Dr. Logan and Dr. Hamilton and his amazing palliative team. Thank-you also to the nurses (LHIN) and PSWs (Paramed) who helped care for Ian.

Born on July 18, 1928 in Capelle a/d Isle the Netherlands to the late Hendrik and Maria Johanna (van der Windt) Schippers. Beloved Wife of the late John Schouten (2013) for 61 years. Beloved mother of Audrey Boler, Dale Reid, Robert Reid (Jennifer), Elaine Purcell and Lorne Reid (Christine). She loved her grandchildren Robyn, Raegan (Glenn), Michael (Ashley), Kathleen, Sarah (Colin), Lauren, Edward and Paul. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Robert, Analeigh, Andrew, Clark, Josephine and Charlie. Dear sister of Leah Way. Predeceased by her daughter Dale Reid (September 2018) and also her brothers and sisters Julia, Joseph, Irene, Laura, Jean, John and Peter. Also missed by her nieces and nephews.
