Peacefully, with family by her side on Sunday, October 20, 2019 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Cornelis Van Daalen (1995). Loving mother of Peter Van Daalen and Wilma of Edmonton, Alberta, Siebren Van Daalen and Nancy of Newmarket, Ontario, Kees Van Daalen and Marg of London, Ontario. Loving Oma to John, Catherine and Chris, Philip and Juley, Karin & Dwayne, Michael and Helen, Joy and Dave, Avaleigh and Shane, Kelly and Mike, Jeff and Jessica, Erica and Mark, and Susan and Steve. Loving Oma to 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London. Peacefully after a short struggle, surrounded by her family and friends, Marian Olsen Coutinho passed away at Victoria Hospital, London on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the age of 93. Beloved daughter of the late Clarence Olsen and Edith (Carr) Olsen. Loving wife of the late Evaristo Coutinho (2014), and lovingly remembered by her many cousins (Carr), step daughters (Grace, Ana, Tereza and Paula Coutinho), and close family friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her cousins Albert Carr, Sherry Arthur, and Reverend Jim Carr. Marian was a woman who was generous in her hospitality, and loyal to her family and friends. She strongly believed in civic duty and that everyone could make their communities a better place. She was very proud of her Elgin County roots, and always looked on the bright side of things. Visitation will be held at A. MILLARD GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, 60 Ridout Street South on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 2-3 pm. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 3 pm with Reverend Patt Nunn officiating. Cremation and interment will take place at a later date. Peacefully at Extendicare London, on Thursday, October 17, 2019 Ileane passed away in her 97th year with her family by her side. Ileane will be missed by her children Larry Parr (Doreen), Gayle Webber (Bryan), Jimmy Parr, Lori Urquhart (Deb) and Maureen Carlyle (Ken) and all their families. Predeceased by her daughter Lois Yandt and son in law Wayne. Much loved grandma to Matthew, Katie, Debbie (Howie) and Robert and great grandmother to Kristy and Amanda and many great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Gladys, Ina, Florence, Charles, Roy and Ron. Ileane will also be missed by her niece Carol and many other nieces and nephews. Ileane was a war vet and a member of The Royal Canadian Legion in London and Cambridge. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 10 – 11 am at the A. Peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Kensington Village Nursing Home, London, John Yull passed away in his 83rd year. He was the son of the late Henry James Yull and Emily (nee Withers) Hardie. Much loved uncle of Robert James Yull (Pam) and Andrew Gordon Yull (Leslie) and great-uncle of Sarah Rose Yull and Colin Gordon Yull. Predeceased by his brother Gordon James Yull (the late Carol Ann). Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be conducted at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 10 am. Carman passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 14, 2019 in his 92nd year. Loving husband of Betty for over 67 years – “To have and to hold”. Proud father of Geoffrey, Carol (Robert Salmon), Roger (Patricia), Sally (Chandran Chelladurai) and Wendy Reed. Carman will also be missed dearly by his grandchildren Charlie, Eleanor, Sandi, Dean, Jasmin, Lindsay, Gregory, Daniel, Andrew, Michelle, Jillian and Joel, and great grandchildren Jacob, Ella, Ainsley, Sadie, Claire and Abigail. Carman was one of 10 children and is survived by his sisters Audrey Gray and Marjorie Vickers. Carman was an elementary school teacher and principal with the London Board of Education where his quiet, competent manner made a positive difference in so many students’ and colleagues’ lives. Carm and Betty spent many summers taking their family (5 kids, dog and cat) on camping adventures all across Canada. After his retirement Carm enjoyed even more time doing what he loved: playing and watching sports (especially hockey, curling, baseball and golf), photography and fishing on Georgian Bay. Most of all he cherished time with his grandchildren. Carman had a strong Christian faith and has been an active member of his church for many years. Unexpectedly, on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Victoria Hospital, London, John passed in his 79th year. John will be missed by his nieces Elaine Wake and her husband Jim and Patricia Weatherby and her husband Keith and by his great nieces and nephews James, Jonathan, Ruth and Tammy. John will be fondly remembered by his lifelong childhood friend Jay Hunt. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Fountain, sisters Mary Rowlands and Ida Groshok and nephew Bob Rowlands. John was a faithful member of Calvary United Church, he was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed the outdoors, a skilled woodworker and gas fitter by trade. Cherished uncle of Timothy Michael Gamble and Ronald George Gamble. Close friend of Kevin Diachina. George will also be missed by his numerous cousins and their families. George was a committed man and spent 34 years working for United Agri Products as a Senior Auditor in Environmental Health and Safety. As many know, George was also an avid golfer, so during your next round please keep him in your thoughts. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the A. Passed peacefully on October 9, 2019 at home in London, Ontario.
Ray will be dearly missed by wife Rita nee Eman, children Glenn (Maureen), Rae Lynne (Craig), Kenn, Maura (Brian), Alexandra Joy (Mohamed), and his grandchildren Scott, Colleen, Kelsey, Kyla and Quinn.
He will be missed by his sister Loraine (Terry), nieces Heather Lynn (Jari) and Sherri Lee. Pre-deceased by sister Irene, brother-in-law Brian, and nephew Todd.
Fondly remembered by extended family and friends.
As the last surviving member of the Dirty Dozen golf gang, we know he is enjoying the 19th hole in heaven with his buddies.
Cremation has taken place and a private internment will be held at a later date.

After a brief illness, peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at St. Thomas Elgin Hospital, Ruth Elizabeth Sands, aged 72. Special sister of Lois Wall (Jeff). Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Phyllis Sands of London. Ruth liked bright colours, picnics, playing the piano and making music. She will be missed by her friends at Chester Residence, Bible Baptist Church, St. Andrew’s United Church in St. Thomas and remembered at Faith Chapel in London. We mourn her loss while knowing she is in a better place, safe in the arms of her Lord. Friends and Guests will be welcomed for visiting on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 9:30-11:30 am at the A. Norman Edward, 94, peacefully after a short battle with cancer, on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. Loving husband of Edith Keating. Pre-deceased by his wife Eleanor (2004), his parents Edward (1979) and Myrtle (1986), his sister Lois (2017) and his daughter-in-law Karen (2001). Dedicated and loving father of his four sons Greg (Lina), Jeff (Jennifer), Chris (Mary Janet) and John (Kelly). Grandfather of Scott (Jen), Megan (Kaveh) and Brett, Paisley (Eduardo) and Cory, Brennyn, Avyn, Jessie and Adam, Erin (Danny), Katie (Nick), Lauren and Ryan. Great-grandfather of Violet and Freya, and uncle of Joan and Carol. Loved and respected friend of the Keating family. Norm was a loyal employee of Nash Jewellers for 44 years, including Manager from 1978 to his retirement in 1993. In addition, he was a long time member of the Middlesex Masonic Lodge No. 379. Norm served as Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Air Force 1943 to 1945. The family would like to thank St. Joseph’s Hospice for the care and compassion they showed.
