Obituary
BYRNE, William “Billy”…..
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Billy, peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in London, Ontario. Born in Ireland, raised in Dublin followed by many years in Sydney, Australia before coming to Canada. Billy was a proud Irishman whose humour, calm kindness and musical gift touched all who knew him. A loving husband to Lisa. Devoted father to Oisin and Raffy. Billy will be forever missed by his parents Teresa and Davy, his siblings Paul, Dmitri, Nicol, Elise, and Niamh along with parents, brother, sister, in laws and nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins, friends and colleagues at Canada Life. The song is ended but the melody lingers on. Billy will be forever missed and never forgotten. A celebration of Billy’s life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Irish German Canadian Club, 1 Cove Road, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Billy may be made to the Centre Branch YMCA or St. Joseph’s Hospice London. Arrangements entrusted with A. Millard George Funeral Home, 519-433-5184. Online condolences, memories, and photographs shared at www.amgfh.com

Lisa and family, words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. May you remember the soul who lived not the soul that’s passed.
We are saddened to hear of Billy’s passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts during this difficult time. Billy will be remembered fondly, and his presence will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband and father to your beautiful boys. I loved seeing all the family moments and adventures you shared on line from life in Australia. My condolences to you and your family. RIP
The few times I crossed paths with Billy, he made me laugh, taught me something or just in general made me feel like life was less difficult. I can only imagine the impact he had on those who knew them well. My deepest condolences goes out to you.
My heart breaks for you and your boys, Lisa. I am so very sorry for this immense loss and hope you can feel all the love supporting you and your family through this time. Billy was such a bright light, a beautiful man, a wonderful husband, father, and friend and I know how much he will be missed by every single person that had the privelge to call him a friend. I have such fond memories of a short but very sweet visit with you, Billy, and Oisin, filled with laughter and songs. I wont ever forget. Love you forever, wheezie xoxo
