Obituary
BYRNE, William “Billy”…..
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Billy, peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in London, Ontario. Born in Ireland, raised in Dublin followed by many years in Sydney, Australia before coming to Canada. Billy was a proud Irishman whose humour, calm kindness and musical gift touched all who knew him. A loving husband to Lisa. Devoted father to Oisin and Raffy. Billy will be forever missed by his parents Teresa and Davy, his siblings Paul, Dmitri, Nicol, Elise, and Niamh along with parents, brother, sister, in laws and nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins, friends and colleagues at Canada Life. The song is ended but the melody lingers on. Billy will be forever missed and never forgotten. A celebration of Billy’s life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Irish German Canadian Club, 1 Cove Road, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Billy may be made to the Centre Branch YMCA or St. Joseph’s Hospice London. Arrangements entrusted with A. Millard George Funeral Home, 519-433-5184. Online condolences, memories, and photographs shared at www.amgfh.com

Dear Lisa, Oisín, Raffy, and the Byrne and Clark families,
We were deeply saddened to hear of Billy’s passing. Our hearts go out to you on the loss of your beloved husband, dad, son, son-in-law, and brother.
While we only had limited opportunities to spend time with Billy, we heard many wonderful stories about him. Everything we heard spoke of a loving father and devoted family man. It is heartbreaking that he has been taken from you all far too soon.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
With our deepest condolences,
The Barrys

Lisa & Family,
I was deeply Saddened to hear about Billy’s passing. He is not only strong leader but also a genuinely kind person.
I am grateful for opportunity to have worked under his guidance. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My thoughts are with your family during this difficult time.
Lisa and Family – please accept my sincere condolences for your profound loss. I am a neighbour of yours (my son often plays hockey in our driveway) and I always loved seeing you and Billy walking your massive doggies. When I first moved back to London Billy was outside of Valu-Mart and he was very kind to answer my questions about the dogs and let me pat them, what a nice person he was. He is a neighbour that will be sorely missed. Thinking of you and your famiily during this very difficult time.
Our sincere condolences to Lisa, Oisin and Raffy on your loss of your loved Billy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. May the good Lord give you strength and comfort during this difficult time.

Billy and Lisa you have together raised such extrodinary boys that I have had the privilage of working with and coaching along side. I am so sorry for your passing that you will miss all the extrodinary things you have set up through Oisin and Raffy. Thank you Billy for sharing your boys with us (and you too Lisa), I promise to help pick up whatever the boys would like me for too. Billy you did a wonderful job and now we all get to standby and see what the next stages are for you and with your memory.
The Brown Family (Alax, Steve, Maddy, Kennedy, Tori and Scarlett)
We are so sorry to hear of Billy’s passing. Our condolences to everyone who knew and loved Billy and has lost a son, brother, uncle, friend, and father. To Billy’s family, Lisa, his boys: praying for God’s love, strength, and peace to comfort you deep down in the tough moments as you grieve, and in the quieter moments as you hold each other, reminisce, and miss him. Your memories of him, all of his love, and all of his light will live on brightly every day through you all. Take good care.
Dear Lisa, Oisin and Raffy. We’ll remember Billy as a gentleman, fun, friendly, and interesting to talk to. It was a great time we had together in Sydney, getting to know each other whilst we raised Oisin and Dylan. We admire Billy for his determination and positivity and we’ll always remember what a wonderful person he was. Love, Tarona, Ian, Dylan and Lloyd xo
