I was so sorry to hear of Stephen’s passing. I served with him on the Bladder Cancer Canada board and appreciated his writing talents that he generously donated to the organization. He was a gentle and caring man and will be missed.

Stephen will always be remembered as a great neighbour, most importantly, a great friend. I’ve known him for just a few years now, and found him to be very helpful when I needed a helping hand. We shared the same love of 60’s music, although not always (lol we would text!). Lately I miss those funny emojis, and comments he would send. Rest in peace my friend, you are, and will be missed. Sincere condolences to all his family and loved ones.
Our neighbourhood has been left with a void. Steve would always make the time and effort to connect with those along the way. His daily walks would lead to chats about life, always inquiring how one was doing.
Steve was a true gentleman and very engaging. His sudden passing has left us all missing his conversations and thoughtful texts messages that would be sent with genuine care. Qing Qing and family we are here and honoured to continue being your friend and help you along your way.
Sincere Condolences,
Jenn and Spencer Lewis
Our neighborhood is mourning the loss of a great neighbour and FRIEND! Rob and I are definitely missing street chats, text messages and times when the guys would get together for sports nights in our basement/birthday get togethers and driveway beers on Friday nights.
Stephen always took the time to chat/wave to all the neighbours.
Our hearts are missing you and your kindness.
Praying for Qing Qing and the family you leave behind.
Rest in peace our friend, until we meet again.

I had the privilege of working alongside Stephen for more than a decade.. He loved words and writing and was a respected colleague. Stephen was a good friend. I have so many fond memories. Family was very important to Stephen and he delighted in his grandchildren.
He will be missed. I share my deepest condolences with his friends and family. A life well-lived and full of love.
On behalf of Bladder Cancer Canada, we extend our sincere condolences. Stephen was a longstanding volunteer and shared his talents and expertise freely, such that he put words to our mission so that others could benefit and be supported through their respective bladder cancer journey. His contributions will endure. For this and much more we are so very grateful.

Stephen was a great friend and neighbour. He was always there when we needed anything. He was very intelligent, warm hearted and strong.
We will miss him dearly. We will miss his sense of humour and fellowship.
I have known him for about 6 years and when he moved beside us, we hit it off immediately. He helped me build my deck and fence. I enjoyed his company when we got together for hockey, baseball and basketball games. We would get together for birthdays at GT’s in Port Stanley and enjoyed going to the movies. He particularly enjoyed going to Shaw’s ice cream afterwards. I’m sure all our neighbours will miss him dearly. Rest In Peace Stephen. God Bless You.
Stephen St in Byron, fond memories of times long ago. Rest in peace Stephen
