It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather. A part of our family has left us on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Victoria Hospital, London in his 77th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Debbie (nee Stewart) Wira for 48 years. Much loved dad of Angie & Jeff Anderson of Union and Mike & Shannon Wira of Dorchester. Amazing Judik of Jeremy, Hannah, Lily & Carter Anderson and Everly & Sophia Wira. Loving brother-in-law of Grace Wira of Mount Brydges, Joanne Wira of London, John Marchand of Bothwell, Linda & Paul Willsie and Gail & Don Johnson of Grand Bend. Predeceased by his brothers John (2008) and Steve (2010), sisters Irene (2011) and Krystyna (2021) and parents Stefan & Franciszka Wira and in-laws John & Dot Stewart. Stan will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Stan worked at McCormick’s for 40 years and at Murphy bus line for 11 years. Stan enjoyed many years at Harbourside Trailer Park. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Deb,
I am so sorry to hear of Stan’s passing. While we haven’t seen each other for 25 years, I can still feel a smile coming to my lips as I think back on all the times together at the girls’ ballgames and on the golf course and afterward.
Thinking of you Deb, and your family, during your time of loss.
My sincere condolences to you and your family on Stan’s passing. I will be thinking of you Deb.

Thinking of you all on this sad day. Now that I am taking my own kids to ball tournaments all summer long it makes me remember my ball family growing up. You guys were there for a lot of it. Lots of memories and laughs. Stan will be greatly missed.
