Dear Mrs. Eadie, Tanya, and Paul,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Eadie. We remember his smile well and what a kind and gentleman he was at our Amabile concerts.
We wish we could be with you on Friday, but unfortunately, we are not able to make it. We are sending our sympathy and prayers to each of you.
May the Lord bless and keep you during the sad times.
Dear Marg, Paul, Tanya and family. Neil will be greatly missed by so many people from all walks of life, but none more than the congregation of his church, Wesley-Knox United. He was the historian extraordinaire for Wesley-Knox and well loved choir member. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you continue on the difficult path ahead.. 🙏
My condolences to all of Neil’s family.
So sorry to hear this news. Neil was a wonderful man and neighbour. Always a smile and great conversation when I stopped by to collect for February Heart & Stroke donations. We send our condolences to Paul and Tanya – an original Amabile chorister with our daughters, who came by her talent honestly. Hold your memories close.
Margaret, Paul & Tanya…I will raise a glass of Friday and celebrate a well lived life! I adored Neil. (((Hugs to you all)))
My deepest sympathy for the family and friends of Neil… you will be missed…
I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Eadie’s passing. He was one of the most caring people I had ever met, and I really only learned that 25 years after having him as a teacher at Knollwood Park P.S.. He took me aside at a reunion and said that he must hear what I had done with my life so far. He saw potential in me that I had no idea existed at that time. He is dearly missed.
Thank you Neil for your hard work, contributions and friendship at Wesley Knox church and all the help and knowlege you gave me when i was property chair. God Bless you catherine
He was one of my favorite teachers at Princess Anne school in the 60’s. He not only wanted you to excel but he truly cared about your wellbeing.
Very sorry to learn of Neil’s passing. He was a wonderful neighbour on Prince George Road and a true gentleman. Our condolences to the Eadie family. RIP Neil.
Mr Eadie was a great teacher at Knollwood Park PS.
My sincerest condolences to your family❤️🩹
I am sorry to learn of Neil’s passing. He was a wonderful and thoughtful educator, a fine musician, and a kind man. As my first vice-principal, he was a patient mentor. We shared our classroom’s school day, as he balanced instruction and administration. He was my accompanist for many choirs at Knollwood P.S., and the All-City Choir. I am sure that he is now accompanying a heavenly choir. You many mourn Neil. I mourn Mr. Eadie.

Dear Eadie Family, We are sorry to learn that Neil has died. We remember him fondly when we travelled with the Coleman Group many years ago. The world has been a gentler place while people like Neil have been part of it. We send blessings to all who love Neil. Sincerely, Dawn Cumming and Bob Merrimen.
Mr. Eadie was my gr. 7 teacher at Knollwood PS in 1982ish. He was always one of my favourite teachers and I have many positive memories of being in his class. He was so kind and always had a smile on his face. I think of him every time I need to remember musical notes. My condolences to his family.
Sending my deepest condolences to you all with the loss of Mr Eadie! He was one of my teachers at Knollwood Park PS and was great! Got to see him at the Reunion a while back and he looked great! He will be missed and was a wonderful man! RIP Mr Eadie!
Dear Neil, I was a new teacher on the London Board, in the early 80’s . Your were V.P. And the music MASTER. I admired how you could organize the whole school, from 5 year old wide-eyed « clean slates » to the 14 year old savvy seniors in Grade 8!! You chose songs for the season, the theme or even, sometimes, the weather. You made music the heart and hub of Knowllwood Park School! Your were foundational as a mentor of heart and integrity for all! Personally, you helped me as I struggled with my new skill development as a senior grade home room/French teacher in a big diversified school. You Bouyed my spirits with your notes of admiration on how I naturally connected with « the kids »! You were there with a fresh box of tissues, when the gestetner machine covered my blazer with gooey black ink, as I broke into tears. You finished my copies, after you started my class(so I could clean up) and you also leant me a fresh cosy cardigan for the day (to replace that jacket). NEIL — you managed to teach the Kids in my classes – the songs /hymns to sing at my wedding, and make sure they made it to St. Peter’s Cathedral on the snowy February 5th wedding day of their young French teacher (1983). Mr. Eadie, you made an indelible heart-shaped mark on my teaching life. A true blessing that lives on and one that I try to continue sharing. Bon voyage, My friend!❣️
My sympathies Paul and family on the loss of your father. 🙏
