BOUG, Nancy…

Nancy Louise Boug, age 82, of London, Ontario, passed away on May 13th, 2026 at University Hospital.

She was born on September 15th, 1943 to LeRoy and Mary Boug. Nancy was known for her compassion, generosity, and for being an active, and vocal, member of the Empress United, Colborne United and Hyde Park churches. She was a dedicated, loving mother and Nana, who would not hesitate to do anything for her family.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Anne (Ron) Saunders, and her children and grandchildren: Sheila, Sandy, Kyle, and Alexandria Hyde; Jason and Marty Martell; Mary Anne, Chris, Maggie, Hannah, and Ella Mills; Michael, Singing, Nathan, and Niomi Taylor; Joe, Heather, Lincoln, and Lukas Manuel; Susan Taylor; and Bill Taylor. She was predeceased by her sister Arlie (Vic) Anderson and her son Christopher Manuel.

A memorial service will take place at Colborne United Church, 711 Colborne Street, London on Sunday, May 17 at 2pm. Guests are encouraged to wear bright colors if possible.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The family would like to thank everyone who touched her life because nothing gave her more joy than laughing, crying, and supporting her loved ones. She will be greatly missed.

    My deepest condolences to Nancy’s family. She was a cherished friend to my mother Catharina, and was always there to support her through many health challenges, especially at the end of her life. I’ve always been so grateful to her for her kindness and compassion.

    We are so sorry to learn of Nancy’s passing. The last time I saw her was at Cherryhill Mall about a year ago. She was her chatty self as we talked about our shared memories.
