Our family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of Michael (Mike) Cummings at the age of 55 on Monday, August 10, 2026. He will be forever remembered by his only son Kyle Skipper-Cummings. Mike will remain in the heart of his parents, Murray & Lois Cummings, his sister Christine Peicheff, his niece Olivia & nephew Adam as well as their father Sean Peicheff. He will be dearly missed by his son’s mother, Jenn Skipper and her parents Gord & Ann Caron as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mike was a free spirit who enjoyed golf, cheering on his favourite teams (Go Chiefs!!) and being surrounded by his wide circle of friends who he loved like family. Mike was a proud cat dad to his fur babies Princess & Kelce. Mike had the biggest heart and was always happy to help a stranger or a friend. The family is asking that in lieu of floral arrangements to please consider doing a random act of kindness. Mike would be so touched knowing that he has inspired kindness in others. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Pine Knot Golf and Country Club, 5421 Hamilton Road, Dorchester on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 1:30-4:30 pm. Such a sad unexpected ending to a great friend and ex co-worker of mine at TSC Stores and Peavy Mart. Really miss this outgoing and energetic fellow. We were both ⛳️ golfers and sports fans that enjoyed playing and going to games together.
