Andrew, Sara, Marco, and Martin. My condolences on the passing of your mother and wife, Mary. I’m sure this time is filled with strange emotions, perhaps grief and relief. To see someone so close to you pass after a journey with Alzheimer’s. As a nephew, I can’t say that I was close to Mary, although I do remember her vividly at this moment. I remember her voice and laugh fondly. I see her speaking with her sisters and brother with earnest and her asking questions with innocent curiosity. I see her smile brightening her face and a laugh that punctuated the conversation. You are all in my thoughts, and I hope to see you soon.
Chris

As a nephew to Mary, most of my interactions with her were at hours-long family get togethers. She always expressed great interest in how my life was going, and was easy to talk to. I have nice memories of her spending time with my brothers and cousins who were all trying to make her laugh.
I share the loss with the rest of the family, and will remember Aunt Mary fondly.
I’m sorry I can’t attend the funeral on Saturday.
With love,
Kevin

Dikke knuffel.
Ton en Carla
