John passed away peacefully and quietly at Parkwood Institute, London, on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the age of 68 after a short battle with cancer. John was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to many and will be dearly missed. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date. In memory of John, donations made to the London Regional Cancer Program, c/o London Health Sciences Foundation, 747 Base Line Road East, London, ON N6C 2R6 would be greatly appreciated.     My sincere condolences to the Leak family. I grew up friends, mostly with Linda & Anne. We lived one street over from the Leaks, and went to Byron Southwood P.S. together.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to all of John’s family at this difficult time.
    John had reached out to me via Facebook after I moved back here and we had reconnected at that time. It would have been nice to actually see and talk with him especially since I had learned years ago of a family tie between our families.

    John was a great person. Although I only knew him for a short time, our chats and laughter shared, will always be remembered. May he RIP and be free of pain. I can still hear his voice…You will be dearly missed.
