CHAMBERS, Jill….
Jill chambers passed away peacefully in London Ontario at the age of 91, Saturday, September 12, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Carl Chambers (2014). Loving mother of Scott Chambers (Colleen) and Patrick Chambers (Vicki). She will be missed by her grandsons Cameron (Jennifer Beck), Alexander, Joshua, Noel, and great-grandson Hunter. Jill is reunited her siblings Mollie Hart and Jack Vann.
In her younger years, Jill was an avid tennis player. She enjoyed singing in her church choir. Jill especially treasured the winters she spent in Florida with Carl, where they shared many wonderful memories together.
According to Jill’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment to take place at a later date at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery, 603809 Cemetery Lane, Ingersoll, Ontario N5C 1M1.

Warren and I, along with Rachel and family, send our condolences. I have so many memories of all periods of my life of time spent with Auntie Jill that I can never choose any favourite day. Some of my favourites though, are when she used to babysit me before I started school and she would take me shopping (with Boss in her coat pocket LOL) – I still remember how happy that made me! And when I was a pre-teen riding my bike from Woodstock to Putnam to hang out with her at the lot for the day. And then again when Rachel was a little girl and Mom and I would visit. I’m glad Auntie Jill is at peace now. She is forever loved. Love and hugs to you all.

I have driven past “the lot” a few times this week, thinking of Jill and Carl, remembering the many times they hosted our family get togethers and so many times they shared their lives with us. They are wonderful memories that I will always have. We have all endured the heartbreak and loss of Alzheimer’s over these past years and can now, hopefully, replace those images with fond memories of the past where we remember our parents with love and dignity.
