FLEMING, Georgina nee Cleary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Georgina Fleming at her residence at The Village of Glendale Crossings at the age of 84.

Beloved wife of Davy (David) for 62yrs and loving mother to Brian (Eileen), Craig and Heather (Dave). Proud Nana of Emily and Duncan and William and Jennifer. Cherished sister of Margaret and Anne “the twins” and Brother Bobby. Beloved sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many both in Scotland and Canada.

Georgina was born and raised in Scotland. She and Davy first settled in Don Mills and then Scarborough and in retirement moved to London, ON to be closer to family. She was a vibrant woman who made friends wherever she went and she never forgot a face. She loved a good blether and it was sometimes hard to get a word in! She was active until the very end with fitness, yoga, line dancing and walking. She loved to collect recipes and made the best pots of soup.

Extreme gratitude for Dr. Sanatani, RN Julie and the rest of the team at the London Regional Cancer Centre (LRCC) for their care, compassion and support over the years and to family doctor Dr. V. Nair whose kindness and patience was appreciated.

To the staff and her new friends at Glendale Crossings, thank you for the kindness, empathy and support you gave to Georgina as she transitioned into her new home. It made a world of difference.

Family and friends are welcomed for visitation at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 1:00 – 1:45pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm.
