Obituary
FITCHETT, Faith
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Faith Fitchett on Thursday, November 20, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward “Ted” Fitchett (2001), her sister, Beth Baysinger (2019) and brother, Paul Spencer (2019). Faith will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark Fitchett (Deb), Kimberly Mitchell (Scott) and Andrew Fitchett, by her grandchildren, CJ, Rob, Carly and Chelsea, as well as her great-grandchildren, James and Natalie. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and was immensely proud of each of them. Faith will also be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her lifelong best friend, Eleanor Sharkey, to whom the family is profoundly grateful for her unwavering love, friendship, and support.
Faith was an active member of the Byron Community Church, where her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many. She was a devout Christian, a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan who never missed a game. She carried kindness and positivity for everyone she met, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

We knew each other as children when Faith lived in England for a few years, and more recently we were in touch through Kim. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. With our love, Joe and Sue
Andrew, Kim and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you and hope you find time to enjoy all the wonderful memories that come from having someone so special in your lives
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Faith was a wonderful friend and blessing.
Faith was appropriately named and always had a smile for me Sunday mornings at church. She will be dearly missed. Sending you deepest sympathies.

I will always remember Aunt Faith as my parents second set of eyes. She was always looking out for us as kids and would take a hug on the way by her house.
She will be remembered as one of my mom’s best friends and one that brought her to find salvation during one of their trips to the states. I am grateful for the friendship she had with my mom. Guess your up there chatting away now.
Mark, Kim, Andrew and all the ones that came after…you are in my thoughts and prayers and I will always lovingly remember your mom as my Aunt Faith ❤️
My earliest memories of Aunt Faith were of her spending time with Grandma and Pmough and helping them keep the house clean. She was a gentle, happy presence who you automatically loved. We will miss you Faithy. Be at peace with the Lord and enjoy your reunion with your husband and siblings. RIP
I enjoyed visiting with Faith at the Baigent Cousins’ Family Reunions in Grand Bend. She was a lovely person, always friendly and interesting. My condolences to Faith’s immediate family and friends.
