As a member of Chalmers, I had the pleasure to know both Ed and Norma. When my daughter Keela and I joined the church they both took a liking to us. Often stopping us while shopping and always smiling at us in church. We will miss his smile, kind words and hugs. We send our condolences to the family. We have such fond memories.

I’m sorry to hear the sad news about Ed. Ed and Norma both had a very special place in my heart. I will never forget their hugs, the Scotch mints in Ed’s pocket, how the one time he offered me his hanky, or how he used to call my dad “Harry”. My condolences to Charles, Allison, Ted, Richard and families. RIP Mr Stevenson.
Bob and I were saddened to hear of Ed’s passing. We knew him from Chalmers. We’ll always remember his great smile. Our condolences to the Stevenson family.
Ed and Norma were a very special couple. They were the picture of love and kindness and as we missed Norma, now too we’ll miss Ed. Together again 💕
We send sincere sympathy to the Stevenson family on the passing of Ed. Both Ed and Norma were such a loving, caring couple to each other and to their family and friends. They both will be dearly missed. We cherish many special memories of them at Chalmers. Keith & Phyllis Johnston
Our family has fond memories of Ed and Norma too. Harold and Ed both worked for MTO. I knew him for 50 years through the church. Sending love and hugs to his whole family. He was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.
A good life leaves behind seeds that keep growing. Your Dad’s stories, his values, and his love of family all live on in you…what a wonderful legacy. His well-lived life leaves its gentle pattern on the hearts of all who knew him and the world is a lovelier place because your Dad touched it with warmth and goodness and grace. We had the pleasure of attending Chalmers with both your Dad and Mom. They were a true testament to their faith. Praying the lord will comfort you with his peace, surround you in his love, and encourage you with his presence.
For the Lord shall comfort you

From your fellow club member, my deepest condolences to you and your family, Richard.
May fond memories of your dad, father in law, grandfather bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.
It’s so sad to hear of Mr. Stevenson’s passing. As a kid growing up at Chalmers, there are many memories – of him calling my Dad “Harry”, and of course, the mints in his pocket (which he taught me that during the sermon you were to cough to cover the sound of it being unwrapped). He was always happy and had a quick wit. My condolences to all of the family.
Alison, I want you to know that I am sorry for your loss, please receive my deepest condolences on this difficult time. My thoughts are with you.
Dear Stevenson family,
Jack & I would like to express our sincerest condolences with the passing of your father. The neighbourhood will miss his dry wit, contagious smile yet quiet demeanor. He was a true gentleman and one of a kind! I’m sure Norma is happy to be reunited with him and that is the only reason we can say good bye to our dear friend. Rest in Peace Ed xoxo
