Obituary
TURNER, Diane…
Peacefully surrounded by family, at her home Diane (McMillan) Turner went to be with Jesus, on Monday, October 12, 2026, in her 84th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Willy Turner Sr. for 62 years. Loving mother of Willy Turner Jr. (Sharon), Randy Turner (Sharon) and Justine Turner. Cherished Grandma of Rhyce, Marshall (Jovana), Trae, and Great GG Mama of Roman. Dear sister of Calvin (Mary), Danny (Judy), and sister-in-law of Marion (the late Jim), Henry (the late Marsha) and Katherine (the late Dennis). Missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother David and her sister-in-law Patricia.
Family and faith were at the heart of her life. She was deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren and treasured the time she spent with those she loved most. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family and creating special memories with her grandchildren. In her spare time, she could often be found knitting, a pastime she greatly enjoyed. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a dedicated member of the Beth Emanuel Home and Foreign Missionary Society and Past President. She was also a devoted member and Past President of the East London Lioness Club, where her commitment to helping others and serving her community was recognized with the prestigious Helen Keller Award, honouring her dedication and support. Her kindness, faith, and devotion to her family and community will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Friends will be received by the family from 2-4pm on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the Celebration of Diane’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 1 pm (visiting from 12-12:45pm). Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London.

My condolences go to the Turner family..I went to public school with her eldest son and spent many days with the family at their house. Thoughts and prayers.
Sending our condolences to the Turner family during this difficult time. We are very sorry to hear of the loss of Mrs. Turner. Her kindness did not go unnoticed and her strength was admirable.
Mrs. Turner was always so loving and welcoming towards Caleb and I, and we are very grateful to have had a chance to get to know her. We know she adored her great grandson Roman, and that he adored her just as much.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Caleb, Roman and Alex.

My sincere sympathy to the Turner family for the passing of Diane Turner. She was a helpful member at my brother’s church, the previous Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, here in London, Ontario. Not only was she the Secretary but she was involved in the social parts of the church, especially on holidays. I am sure she will be missed not only by her families but by all those who knew her.
Diane, may your soul rest in peace.
