David Sutherland

SUTHERLAND, David Robert
June 1967- February 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David Sutherland on February 17, 2025.
David was the son of the late Audrey Sutherland (Lefebvre) and the late Robert Sutherland. He was the beloved brother of Janet Salter (Michael) and Nancy Sutherland (Jim Blumsom). He was the cherished uncle of Colin (Cassie Yount) and Eric Salter (Amanda Martino) and of Matthew (Stefanie Cimini), Robert and Bradley (Erin Culp) McLellan.
David loved nature, and delighted in gardening competitions with his housemates, fishing with his nephews, and viewing nature pictures on his FrameO. He was gentle and kind, and everyone who knew him was better for it.
For almost 25 years, David was supported by the amazing staff of Participation House. There are no words sufficient to express our profound gratitude to all former and current PHSS staff for the exceptional care and kindness they unfailingly provided David. They were all the greatest gift David could ever have received.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street London. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Divine Parish, 390 Baseline Road, London.
