Carol Rosanne Parnall passed away suddenly at the age of 79 on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in Ilderton, Ontario. She leaves behind her loving husband of 59 years, Winston.

Carol was a cherished mother to Laurel and Lesley (Kelly), and a beloved Nana to Carly (Rob), Matthew, Dylan (Lauren), and Mya. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Henry and Maggie, who brought her so much joy.

Carol was a kind and caring soul who lived life to the fullest and was happiest when she was active and surrounded by the people she loved. She had a love of travel and enjoyed exploring new places and making wonderful memories along the way. She could often be found golfing or curling at the Ilderton Curling Club, where she was a dedicated member and served on the Board of Directors for many years. Some of her happiest times were spent at the lake with her family, where she loved to paddleboard and kayak and simply enjoy being together.

During her career, Carol worked in executive recruitment until her retirement and also spent time proctoring at Western University. Later in life, she dedicated 12 years to volunteering at University Hospital on the surgery floor, giving her time generously to others.

Carol will be remembered for her kind and caring nature, her love of family, her adventurous spirit, and the many wonderful memories she created with those closest to her. She is now reunited with her beloved dog, Shadow.

Carol’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Parkwood Hospital, EMS, and the Ilderton firefighters for their care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
