van Kampen……
John van Kampen went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Monday, July 9th, 2007 in his 73rd year. John leaves behind his dearly loved wife of 50 years, Dela. Also missing him are his six children and his many grandchildren. Dearly loved father and grandfather to Joanna Boom and her husband Derrick (Nathan & Ashley, Joshua, Matthew, Michael) of Bel Air MD, Elsa van Kampen of Bracebridge, Anita Savage and her husband Wes of Pickering, Joyce Idema and her husband Doug (Jodi, Tanya & Matthew, Rebecca, Sean) of London, Audrey Laengert and her husband Ed (Zachary, Kathryn) of Etobicoke, Roland van Kampen and his wife Jane (Jonathan) of London. Also missed by his brothers; Hans and Jaap and their families in Holland. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be conducted at Southdale Bible Chapel, 1214 Southdale Road East, London, on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Bob Fletcher, Mr. John Aldom and Mr. Charlie Shorten officiating. Interment in Pond Mills Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, please send donations to New Life Prison Ministry, P.O. Box 123, Arva ON N0M 1C0. So sorry to here of your loss. May the Lord our God help you through these times and give you all the strenght to over come the sorrow that is left behind. We have to believe that He is now in good company with the Lord.
