To Cathy and Family
It was with sadness we read of your Mom’s passing. We remember the bridge games with your parents. Your Mom was always such a cheerful and caring person. She had true dignity of character. We regret we cannot personally attend the service. Our thoughts are with you and all of Scottie’s family. Denise and Ron

To all of Edith’s family I send my deepest sympathy. You gave her so much joy just as she gave joy to those who knew her. Her laughter, her stort-telling, her courage,
her kindliness, her generosity, her energy brightened our lives as it must have done yours many times over.
A loving farewell to Edith, my friend for eighty years.

To all you Stevens children, We remember your parents from the earliest days in Beloeil when our little apartment was close to their little apartment and we each had only one child ! Through the years we kept in touch. Would any of you remember one famous afternoon when we and the Scarfs and someone else visited you in that big house in Danville ? There must have been 12 little boys loose that day. Some one got locked in that attic, I think. We had so many good times with Scottie and Ed, and good food was always an important part. After your Dad died, your Mum came out to Victoria to visit an old friend, and we saw her many times. We think now also of the tragedy of Diane’s death long ago. We have never forgotten how they helped us all deal with that, the faith they shared. We can still see the small white casket in their living room, keeping her close to the family. Your parents were special. We send you our love and sympathy. We can still hear Scottie’s wonderful laugh.
Sincerely, Elizabeth and Bill
