Obituary
DRENNAN, Scott …
Scott passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with alcohol on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the age of 64.
He was funny and smart with a quick sense of humour. Scott spent 40 years in radio and television with the engineering department in London. In 2021 he retired gleefully from Bell Media. He spent his holidays with his brother Matt and family at the lake and enjoyed his good friends immensely.
Son of the late Dr. William and Nancy Drennan, brother of Jim Drennan (Lorraine) of Cornwall; Matthew (Patricia) of Carleton Place, uncle of Caitlin, Sarah, Hannah, Meara and Bill. A son of Suzanne Fraser and brother of Barb Furac of London.

So sad to hear this…Scott was such a kind soul. Rest In Peace now, my friend…
My sincerest condolences to Scott’s family and all who called him a friend. He was very much liked and respected by his peers at the station. RIP Scott
Having worked at London television for 45 years, including a number of years for the Engineering Dept., Scott was a joy, a bright spark, whenever I needed help. Am very saddened to learn of his passing.
My thoughts are with Scott’s family, friends and acquaintances. Scott often helped me with technical problems at work or advice about my personal computers. He was a joy to work with and always brightened my day. May he rest easy and live on in our memories.
I worked with Scott at the TV station and he was always very helpful when I had a technical problem or just wanted to chat about life. I enjoyed his stories from the past and the photo catalogue he kept. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
To Jim and Matt –
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Scott. I’m so sorry he has had a rough journey. How well I remember each of you and your parents at Riverside Church! And of course, I recall hearing about lots of fun times from my daughters, Debbie and Nancy. Do know my caring thoughts are with you. Peace . . . Norma Clare
Sending our sincerest sympathy to the family for the loss of Scott.

I only learned of Scott’s death by chance and want to send condolences to his family. Scott and I were friends in public and high school when we lived in Byron. We misspent many hours together in our youth. He was a good and kind friend and sadly we won’t have the chance to reconnect.
So sorry to see his passing. Scott was a kind and gentle soul whom I regretfully lost track of. Rest in peace brother.
The Paulger’s were very close to Bill and Nancy and Family, many Dinners were shared, Deepest Condolences to Jim and Matt. Very sad news for many of us
Heartfelt condolences to the whole family. I was saddened to hear of Scott’s passing. Our families enjoyed visits together when we were all much younger(Millers) and I have fond memories of Scott’s quiet wit and gentle smile. We send deepest sympathy to his family and we know he will be missed, indeed.
My deepest condolences to Scott’s family and friends. I had worked with Scott for many years prior to his well deserved retirement. He will be dearly missed! RIP
Myself and the Paulger family have fond memories of Scott, his brothers Jim , Matt and their parents spending Christmas,S back and forth at each other’s house back in the seventies.

I just learned of this and wish to express my most sincere condolences to Scott’s family and friends. Our fathers were classmates in the Class of 1955 at the Ontario Veterinary College and our families were close friends until my dad’s death in 1975. I have vivid memories of the week I spent at “Camp Nagiwa” in the same cabin as Scott in 1965. I didn’t see him again until his father Bill’s funeral about 20 years ago and hadn’t seen him since. So sorry that I didn’t reach out, even though I had the intention of doing so.
