SINCLAIR, Jeffrey “Jef” John…

With great sadness the family announces the unexpected passing of Jeffrey “Jef” Sinclair.
Jef is the beloved son of Alan Sinclair (Martha) and Bonnie Sinclair. He is the loving brother to Joe Sinclair and Nicole Sinclair, cherished nephew of Bruce Sinclair and Mari Leatham. Jef will be missed immensely by his extended family and many friends.
Jef played hockey, he was a swimmer and a skier (snow and water), he played chess and loved to play the piano and guitar. Jef was a kind, gentle, compassionate individual. He had an outgoing and engaging personality. He was instantly likeable to all who met him.

Dear Al, Martha and Family
I am truly and deeply sorry for the loss of your precious son. May God’s peace and comfort settle over you all.
Sincere condolences Al, Martha and family. Keeping you in our prayers!
I no doubt speak for all the guys who played hockey with Jef over the summer, how heartbreaking his passing is. His obituary “He was instantly likeable to all who met him.” is completely true. Jef loved playing hockey and apart from time off due to injury, I think I played with him for well over 20 yrs (and most of that with Al as well) in the summer and for the first time he was going to play with our group in the winter this year. So much thinking of Al and family.
Al and Martha, Nicole and Joe: We send you our most sincere and deepest sympathies. The loss of Jef is a terrible blow. We will remember his humble smile and hold it in our hearts. John & Nancy

With deepest condolences to my sister Bonnie, Al , Nicole & Joe.
There are not enough words to express the sorrow of losing a child and brother.
I hadn’t seen Jeff in a long time, but he was my nephew that was loved very much.
He will always be in our hearts.
Rest in peace Jeff.
My condolences to Al and Martha and family. I work with Marlo. May Jesus bring you peace and comfort.
I am sorry for your loss. May he rest in piece.
So many memories when we were younger – holiday get togethers, gatherings at your moms or my moms, the Sinclair cottage (I’m not sure what we were building in that picture I posted back then, but we were so happy and proud of it!) . In recent times, Christmas at my moms, and the random run-in at the Alibi a few years back. Deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the news – you will be missed. Aunt Bonnie and cousins Joe and Nicole – this is so tough, sending my condolences and love.
My dear sister Bonnie, Nicole, Joe and Alan

I’ve spent so much time reflecting on the years I got to spend doing all the things I love right along Jef. Some of my earliest memories of my life are playing hide and seek in Grandma’s basement. Fishing, tubing, skiing at the cottage. Road hockey in the driveway. Playing chess every chance we got. Lacing up for a game of hockey. I can only hope I left as meaningful an impact on his life as he did on mine…
Our sincere condolences to Al and Martha, (Uncle Al and Aunt Martha to Marlo). Sorry for your loss
From Marlo and all her Caregivers
Dear Alan and Martha : Our heartfelt condolences are extended to you Alan and Martha and to all of Jefs family at this time.
May you find comfort knowing that many cared for Jeff, and that many friends and family care for you now in this time of loss.
May love surround you and peace reside with you.
To Al & Family: our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Our deepest condolences.
Dear Al, Martha, Mari, Bruce, Marlo and Family,
I’m so terribly sorry about the loss of Jef. I had the privilege of meeting him several times while caring for Marlo. On summer evenings when the windows were open, and Jef waiting for Skip to go get ready to play hockey, Jef would be at Marlo’s playing the piano. He loved playing Linus and Lucy (The Charlie Brown theme song) and was exceptionally wonderful at it! Marlo and I really enjoyed him playing! Marlo would scream in delight to see him and listen to him play! There also were times when I was driving up the block to Marlo’s, to care for her, and I could hear that lovely song through the windows at least a half a block away and it always brought a smile to my face. I have always since thought of him whenever I have heard that song and always will, with a smile upon my face.
Many seasons playing pickup hockey with Al and Jeff. Many great memories both on and off the ice. Rest in peace Jeff. Won’t be the same without you out there
I’m sorry for you loss. I wish all of the family solace and I hope the memory of Jeff helps you through this difficult time.
