I’m so sad that dear Unlce Sid has left us, but he sure earned his rest. I have so many wonderful memories of sitting with him and discussing books, history and the general goings on in the world. His kind eyes were always full of a young man’s fire and mischief. I’ll never forget the Christmas at my Mom’s place on Talbot, I think it was 2014, when we got talking about the young Brown family’s days in Montreal. We sat Sid down at the computer and together did a tour of the old neighbourhood on Google maps. He remembered every detail and had fun spotting what had changed and what was still the same. I’ll miss his laugh, patience and love always. Rest well Uncle Sid, you will be missed!
Hi Wayne; I was sorry to read about your Dad’s death. As I was a volunteer pastoral visitor at St. James, I met and enjoyed being with both your Mom and Dad. I have made a donation to the Canadian War Museum in memory of them both. My prayers are with you.

Dear Wayne and family.Sincere condolences from a long ago acquaintance and co-worker of your Dad’s and remembering your Mom as well.Good memories of Minden and Hyland Crest and some good times spent together. With sympathy,Bev.
Wayne and family,
I recall a very dedicated husband always ensuring Peggy was taken care no matter what. Loved when he got that twinkle in his eye followed by a little smile. How he made that train trip out west with his son and grandson what a special excursion that was. (FYI- their fiber-optic Christmas tree continues to shine every year).
My condolences,
Sheila – (was a Receptionist of Maple View Terrace)
