I share my sadness with Diane and her family,I have a space in my heart. Rest in Peace. Arthur.
His Journey’s Just Begun …
Don’t think of him as gone away
his journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much. Amen
You and your family are in my heart and mind. My condolences on the passing of your father.
In my thoughts and prayers
My sincerest condolences to you dear cousin Diane. I know how you feel after being widowed myself 7 months ago after 51 years together. You will have several moments of memories and healing tears as you grieve. God bless you. ????((Hugs))
Sorry to hear that great guy
My big brother Arthur, where do I begin. Albion Street. Arthur is smiling as he reads his many Valentines cards. He is now working as a cobbler in the Co-op and makes me polish my shoes. He is now 18 and joins the army, he goes to Korea and Japan, told me shells were flying all around him but as he was a cook it was egg shells. He omitted that part. “Why do you take such small steps Arthur?” I asked when he got home. He replied “Japanese girls walked like that, so I had to slow down or it was “Sayonara Baby” I was the envy of all my friends with my beautiful reversible silk jacket that Arthur sent me. Peter had a new motor bike and Arthur loved riding it. Arthur heads to Canada and this is my big thank you part as I was planning to move to Australia but received a ticket for Canada. I met Beverly at Arthur and Diane’s wedding as they are cousins. Smartest thing we both did was marrying those Gage girls. They have 3 great sons and grandchildren whom we love dearly. Arthur has so many good friends and lots of stories still to be told. My dear brother I will miss your presence on this Earth your sense of humour and your wisdom. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Rest in peace Wee Man.
My Beloved Brother
